Hm,you know what? Sure. Take some old writing I did of my ar ocs following the events of episode 16
@dracl-dragon :3
In which Miete and Azrial try to break out of the dungeon and are interrupted by my less talked about girlie,(ex) lover of the dark angel,Azura :)
"Okay,Azrial. Trust me, I'm at least forty percent sure that this plan will work." Miete announced, bending down in the jail cell. "Get up on my shoulders."
"I don't wish to do that." The dark haired advisor stepped back. "Also, that isn't a comforting percentage..."
Miete groaned,blue-teal eyes meeting his grey ones. "Azrial, we're out of options. Nobody here is going to help us. I shouldn't even be in here with you!"
"I know that! Neither of us should!" He huffed. "But still! I'm not comfortable doing that!! What if I were to injure you,you think "King Petro" will send a medic?!" He snapped, tone laced with sarcasm over Petro's name.
"...hmph..." Miete got off the ground. "I don't like these circumstances any more than you do,your majesty,but-"
"Don't call me that." Azrial stared down at the ground. "Please. I'm not royalty. I've already failed this kingdom enough..."
Miete gently walked across the cell, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Azrial, you failed no one. If those BUFFOONS would rather listen to a liar than the actual, painful truth, that is their problem. Hopefully...James can find Alux and... everything can go back to being alright again. You'll go back to being the advisor, and I can go back to properly serving as a guard."
"Right." Azrial half-chuckled,still looking away. "I had almost forgotten you're a mere guard, we've spent so much time together lately. I was beginning to consider you my own advisor. ...I suppose the guards don't trust me either, now."
"I can make them trust you again." Miete tried to convince him. "I won't let this permanently blacken your reputation. You deserve to be in this kingdom,Petro and Azura on the other hand--" She stopped, hearing footsteps. "Well well, speak of the devil."
Azura numbly approached their cell.
"...did you know what would happen...is that...why you went in here...?" She looked weakly up at Miete. Her usual animosity, the taunts...gone?
Miete furrowed her brow. "What are you talking about?"
"Did you know?" Azura asked again, her voice shaky. Like she was holding back tears. Or rage. "Did you know she'd kill him?"
Azrial's eyes widened. He rushed to the bars.
"Kill?! Who has been killed?! Petro?"
"MARK."
Azrial blinked. "Mark?"
"The guard?" Meite tilted her head. "Someone killed a guard, why? What would they gain from...who's "her"??"
"HER." Azura glowered at them both. "The angel. Or,I thought she was........"
Miete's face darkened.
"She's behind this? Exactly what happened out there?!"
"Mark was our friend! He was on OUR side,I told her he was on our side, why didn't she listen,I don't understand why she KILLED HIM!" Azura rambled, starting to shake. "Mark was apart of the darkness,so why, WHY?!"
"AZURA!" She snapped. "Speak clearly and tell us what's going on!"
"...the dark angel,my master...possessed a stone warrior of Petro's and...stabbed Mark. But-but I TOLD her,he was with us! He wasn't like Alux,or anyone else! He was...!"
Miete's body burned with sudden rage.
"Did you think she'd listen to you?" Her voice tightened in anger. "Are you HONESTLY THIS IDIOTIC?! WHY DID YOU EVER THINK THAT MONSTER WOULD LISTEN TO YOU?!!"
"Because she DID!!!!" Azura screamed, shocking the other two into silence.
"...what??" Miete stepped back in shock. Azrial looked between the two of them.
"...um...I'm not... exactly sure what's going on here...?"
"Not right now,Azrial. I...I need to figure this out. You said she...the dark angel obeyed you once before?"
"...it wasn't obedience."
Azura removed her broken mask, revealing the darkness around her eye, face and neck. The half-mask fell limply to the floor.
Miete gasped.
"That's right." Azura stared her down. "The same way the hero of light marked you,I was marked by her. I was her second in command, her general. I helped plan all her battles. I was different because I followed willingly,I did not have to be turned to darkness,I...I loved her. Before her final fight,I was worried and she..."
Azura aligned her hand on the mark. "She cupped my face...and told me not to worry. Because her and I were going to rule this world. ..."
Her hand dropped.
"Petro isn't like me. A reluctant follower. But I have obeyed, and followed, and been patient and good and now she kills Mark and calls him a toy,and I...it's not-IT WAS UNNECESSARY! He would have followed us!" Her fists clenched, pink flames erupting around them. "Why is she doing this?!"
"...hold on..." Miete locked eyes with her. "You're talking like you disagree with her."
Azura didn't respond.
"Do you want to stop following her?" Miete asked, testing the waters. "Azura, free us! Azrial and I,we can help! We can stop the darkness! She can't win,not after his sacrifice…Azura,if you truly care for your friends,please...free us..."
Azura glared at her, though the real anger wasn't there. "I will always obey my angel." She turned on her heels and stormed off.
Miete sighed as she left. "Damn. I thought I was getting to her."
Azrial put a hand on her back. "Maybe you did. Now ...I'm...still very uncomfortable, but I feel like we may need to try your plan..."
"Oh boy... Alright, just get on my shoulders,I think there might be a window-like opening above us.......maybe."
...
Azura lingered outside Petro's door. Inside,he was sitting, looking over the spellbook stiffly. Wisp floated above his shoulder, offering advice.
Azura stayed outside and watched.
"...I will always follow my angel." She murmured.
"..." She looked at Wisp. Her eyes narrowed.
Azura opened her palm. A fireball formed in her hand.
