I made a joke before that I was hooked from the first slap and really I was. The first episode peaked my interest in it, but then the slap came and then the second slap and I was just sold in how these two played off of each other and the potential chemistry they had.
I love this ship to death it’s one of my big threes of the fandom (does anyone not know that by now?) There’s just so much potential in there given that the actors have this great amount of chemistry, and I’m sorry Constagnan, but I’ll always like it more and it’s just great how Aramis has this respect for Constance and teases her right off the bat of them meeting and Constance won’t put up with any of his shit and will slap him to reign him in.
What makes me happy about them:
The respect that you can see Aramis has for all his teasing, how he’ll ask if Constance has this, ready to step in if she doesn’t but when she says she does he won’t stop her and just believes in her and in the last episode when he comforts her you can just see that he honestly has come to care about Constance. And even when Constance is talking to Aramis about Agnes and you can see she’s worried about Agnes and Aramis dealing with the situation. Pretty much every scene those two share make me happy because I just see so so much potential all the time with them.
What makes me sad about them:
Not so much sad about them persay, but it’s how few scenes we get with these two and how few scenes Constance has with the other Musketeers. I’ve been wanting more since day one and I’m hoping season two delivers. So really it’s that they’ve only had a couple scenes together.

Nada, I’ve only seen a few Aramance fics and I’ve loved all of them.
things I look for in fanfic:
Aramis respecting Constance and Constance keeping her fire because those are very much a part of their characters.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
For Aramis, my other main ship is Portamis and for Constance, it’s ConFlea, but also canon wise I’m okay with Annamis and Constagnan.
My happily ever after for them:
I think I wrote one once that wasn’t so much a happy ever after as a happy ever living together, so let’s try a redux: Aramis ends up training and helping Constance sharpen her sword fighting as well as her shooting, and Constance ends up going on even more missions with the boys and taking on a role that’s not just undercover stuff (even if she is always that main person they go to.).
Years go by the other Musketeers settle down including d’Artagnan who gets married, while their feeling for each other have lessened in time Constance is still a little heartbroken but happy for her friend. Aramis goes to see her after the wedding because he knows how they used to love each other and he’s pretty in tune with Constance’s emotions now having spent years teasing her but knowing when to back off if she was having a bad day. He brings wine and one thing leads to another and they wake up in the morning having slept with each other. A bit embarrassed, Constance doesn’t want to talk about and wants to let the topic go even though Aramis does try.
After a few missions one goes wrong and Aramis ends up getting hurt and Constance drags him back to her place to recover and telling him he better because she was wrong and they have a lifetime of things to talk about, even if he is a moron who drives her crazy, to which Aramis smiles and tells her he’s her moron though now. (Constance then huffs and hits him out with something so she can get to work on sewing him up.) She keeps watch on him over the night to make sure he pulls through and when he wakes up he remembers there conversation and pulls her into the bed, holding her close. (Unfortunately this opens a stitch so the quiet moment doesn’t last long as Constance yells at him for it.) Aramis moves in and they develop a routine of calm mornings getting ready for missions, missions themselves, and quiet evenings together in front of the fireplace, (usually patching up wounds and cleaning weapons).
