Vergil's not one to express his loyalty and friendship often -- not even to his brother in any particularly effective way -- but it can never be said that he will not do his damnedest to be an unwavering anchor to his friends. Even if a very distant and unfriendly anchor. He will not leave friends or family "hanging", as it were. He's just better at showing it through actions than...you know, emotions. He tries to do what he feels is best for his family and friends, much as it may make them angry or bitter for a time.

Unless he's like, had a psychological break and is ruthlessly seeking revenge for his slaughtered parents and the broken life he and his brother have been forced to lead. But that doesn't happen very often, so don't -- don't worry about it.
