Although, she’s a sweetheart from the way you describe her. Additionally, I saw a Tumblr post explaining the three dashes. The standard one (-), which is the first one and called a hyphen, is used to join words together. An example would be non-verbal. The en dash (–) is for number ranges; an example would be this: 1–10. Also, the en dash is the width of an N. The final one—called the em dash—can be used to replace commas. The em dash is the width of a M, and I’ve already used it when explaining as an example of how to use it. Hm… that’s a tough question to answer. If I could relive any memory of my past, I think it would be when I went drinking with my mum’s family when I was of age in the UK.
