Introducing💥”The New World, Episode One: Timestacks” a series of glass and photographic layered collages which bring physical form to concepts narrated in the “New World, Episode One” video. For the construction of “Timestacks”, we emphasise the experience of migration over time, in a series of four layered towers, which contain archival and contemporary images and documents. By simultaneously deconstructing and unifying generational fragments of memory, we show the continually fluid and non-linear experience of Arab American identity seen through the lens of Amer and Sana Khadaj.
