its another oc's birthday~! this is Aria Lumineth, my blood elf paladin from WoW, taking a family picture with her adoptive Arakkoa fathers Rakkam and Irrix! She may have lost her birth parents in the battle for the Frozen Throne, but that didn't stop her from finding a new family on Outland! (little does she know that her birth parents aren't as gone as she thinks...)

i want to make a longer post about the similarities between the arakkoa in WoW and the shrykes in The Edge Chronicles books with pictures, but i gotta say that while TEC technically predates the introduction of arakkoa in The Burning Crusade expansion, the early arakkoa are more skeksis-ish, but their architecture is similar (more on that later). the Warlords of Draenor expac era "high" arakkoa though...now Those were definitely inspired by the shrykes
