Okay, listen here cause this is gonna be long (and v random, i'm sorry but whatever...) anyway: - Thranduil has a flowershop (called greenleaf ofc) and it's one of those fancy ones, really big and quite breathtaking -Legolas works in his fathers shop and is supposed to take it over one day y'know, since it's the family business and all that - but then this girl, Tauriel, starts working in the shop and Legolas starts to really like her, like likelike and it's frustrating - firstly because Thranduil realises how his son feels towards Tauriel and keeps reminding him about his “no dating a coworker“-ploicy (and he's really persistent about it) - and secondly, and that's almost worse, because Tauriel is clearly interested in one of their customers: Fili (honestly, what kind of name is that and why does he keep showing up at the shop so much???) - anyway, at one point Legolas has enough and decides that he doesn't need this much drama in his life, thank you very much, so he wants to quit - but of course there's another problem - Legolas loves flowers and his job and everything that comes with it and he doesn't want another job, so he can choose between staying or asking for a job at the only other flowerahop in town - staying is out of question, so the flowershop on the other side of town it is - now, the flowershop across town is called Rivendell- Floweshop (v creative, i know.. ) and used to belong to a guy named Elrond - it used to be very successful and the greenleafs strongest rival, but one day Elrond left town and with him all his staff and the Rivendell-Flowershop went to its new owners, Aragorn and his girlfriend Arwen -Aragorn was never in it for the profit and it shows, the shop is really small and a little beat down, but it's enough - it's actually quite charming, Legolas thinks -when Legolas first meets Aragorn he is fascinated how much Aragorn knows about plants and how he knows a lot more practical things about them than Legolas father - Arwen, too, knows a lot of really interesting things. Not only does she know the meaning of different flowers, but also their appearent magical powers - Working in this shop proves quite different from working in the greenleafs' shop. The Rivendell-Flowershop has fewer customers and therefore offers more chances to get to know ones coworkers -Aragorn, Legolas realises, seems a little gruffy when you first meet him, but once you get to know him you'll find that he's actually really kind and caring - and Legolas can see how Aragorn and Arwen work so well together. Arwen is sweet and loyal and always puts Aragorn first while he does the same for her - the fourth and final worker in the shop is Gimli, a small dude who somehow always seems kinda grumpy and took an immediate disliking towards Legolas - but after a while the two of them get along very well and Gimli becomes Legolas best friend - so naturally Gimli is the first person Legolas talks to when he starts noticing... things - things he isn't sure he should be noticing, like the way Aragorns eyes crinkle when he smiles or the way Aragorn always faintly smells like the forest after rain... - it takes Legolas a while to realise that these are the same things he noticed about Tauriel and that, if he thinks about it, he actually feels the same way about Aragorn that he felt about Tauriel, maybe even stronger -and again it's frustrating, because Aragorn has a girlfriend and he's a guy and this is not what Legolas wanted to happen when he started working here - and when he talks to Gimli about this his friend kinda smiles at him sadly and it's really agitating - Legolas even cosiders going back to his fathers flowershop when Arwen confronts him - at first he is confused because while he likes Arwen, the two of them never really talk but when Arwen starts talking about Aragorn Legolas knows where this is going - he suspects Arwen to fire him and tell him not to come back and is more than a little surprised when she starts smiling at him and explains in a very soft voice that she understands how Legolas feels. That there is no way to not love Aragorn and that she knows that Aragorn likes Legolas, too - this is news to him and he's so shocked that he has a hard time listening to whatever else Arwen has to say, when Aragorn suddenly enters the room - Legolas doesn't quite know what to do, but then Aragorn and Arewn tell Legolas how Arwen will go to live with her father, who turns out to be Elrond, the former owner of the Rivendell-Flowershop - apparently Arwen and Aragorn had talked about Legolas and Aragorns feelings for him and Arwen had decided that Argorn would be happier with Legolas - at first Legolas feels terrible about it. He never intended to ruin their relationship, but Arwen tells him how she had known about Aragorns and Legolas feelings for each other, long before they had known it themselves - eventually Arwen leaves the town to be with her family and leaves the flowershop to Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli - Aragorn and Legolas start dating a few weeks later and Gimli keeps complaining about how he doesn't want to be the third wheel but is secretly happy that those two dorks are in love - Arwen visits sometimes. She and Aragorn are still friends and so are Arwen and Legolas - No one gets hurt and everyone is happy - the end (I got a littlle carried away and i apologize, not only for the countless mistakes i've made but also for the level of sappyness. I won't do this again i promise) - admin jo
