FEH Summoner Headcanon Ask

1. What’s their Earth background? (Country, family, education etc)

Norrie lives in a small town in America. She has an older brother and an older sister. The two have managed to get their degrees and move on to their own lives so they never visit. Norrie’s parents are divorced, and she mainly lives with her father because her mother travels a lot. She and her father live in a small house. Her father is busy with work, so she rarely sees him. This leaves her with the responsibility of the house. She attends a university nearby, but nothing seems to interest her. She decided to take a career path that would earn her more money, but it is quite depressing. Her part time jobs is a waitress as a small cafe. Due to her quiet and shy nature, Norrie doesn’t have any friends, so her free time is spent in her room, secluded. She becomes a hermit, only emerging for school or work, and ends up becoming antisocial and jaded. 

14. What does the primary crush find attractive about your Summoner?

29. Did they mess up something?

Hm... During the beginning of her time in Askr, Norrie had difficulty keeping it together, and teams would return in defeat. She eventually relinquished her title temporarily to Anna while the Robin’s taught her how to be a better tactician. Eventually, she resumed her job and continued to study rigorously. 

31. How does summoning happen in your headcanon?

The act of calling heroes from other worlds is incredibly draining for Norrie. It takes up a lot of energy, and the results from said summoning may also have an impact on her emotional state (not getting the hero she desires puts her in a bad mood). There are only a certain amount of summons Norrie can do before collapsing. For a few hours, Norrie is left vulnerable -- nothing wakes her up, and she mumbles incoherent sentences. Heroes take turns keeping an eye on her while she sleeps.

Questions About Creating My OCs

1.) What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?

Norrie’s hair was originally going to be short, straight, and completely pale orange with side bangs. It worked for a while, but I prefer drawing her poofy hair. I also considered giving her a scar over her face “Shiro” style but I felt like that was pushing it. I also considered making her a bit more of a hot head outwardly, but I’m not that great at writing hot heads.

3.) How did you choose their name? 

I just said it out loud and it sounded lovely! I usually go on a website to look for something, but I guess it didn’t turn out that way, which surprised me because I’m not great at picking names. Her surname Fonseca did come from a Spanish surname sight since she is Latinx. It means “someone who came from a dry spring.”

17.) Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story? 

Two things: Perceiving Norrie as this sex crazed fool and making her pregnant during the war. Both things combined have sort of made everybody think that Norrie doesn’t have any self control and knows nothing of contraceptives. She’s an extremely cautious character, and would never follow through any intimate matters of love without at least doing some research beforehand. I’m just sad that some people think that she’s irresponsible when the incident was due to the trickery of Loki.

6. Favorite Seal?

I like to use Guidance for my flier team because it’s fun watching my team hopping everywhere! Especially with Pegasus Nino since she can also hop around them, too!

7. Favorite Unit Color

I seem to have the best luck with blue units! Plus, some of my favorite characters are blue units!

49. What’s your favorite Level 40 Conversation?

I really liked Alfonse since he talks about how he shouldn’t close off others, and that I’m his most trusted partner (hehehe). But I also like Summer Ryoma’s Confession. He’s so... suave... and he invites me to dance... heheh
