A toast: Here's to the never-ending conversations we had until 3am. It's funny how we spent hours talking about nonsense, but I couldn't care less. Sleeping was my escape from reality, but talking to you felt like a dream living in reality. Thank you. But I understand that your nights are already meant for someone else. Here's to the times that you made me feel special. The little things you said and the little things you did are the moments that I will always treasure. I wasn't in the right place to say anything, but believe me I was beyond thankful. It hurts to think that you will do the same thing to someone else, or even do better this time, but I still thank you for letting me experience something that I've never felt before. Something that only you can give. Here's to all the stories that we shared and the jokes we laughed together. It was a pleasure to have a glimpse of your world. I know I will never be a part of it, but I'm glad you found someone who will be. Here's to how my hand longs for yours. It always feels like I'm missing a puzzle piece, but I know yours is not the right one because I know that yours is already fixed with another. And finally, here's to the gamble I made and the game I lost. Here's to the story that ended, but never happened. Here's to someone I've experienced, but can never be called mine.
