KING CANDY OJATA

“I look forward to seeing you,” said King Candy, “at tonight’s Royal Race Royale!”

Ralph whirled around with his fists at the ready to wreck. A little ways ahead of him, a true-to-size video of King Candy played on the station’s public announcement screens. Surrounding characters paused their conversations to watch the announcement, moving in closer with smiles on their faces, and nudging one another excitedly. Their apparent fondness of King Candy disturbed Ralph, but not as much as King Candy’s new outfit: he wore a red cape with white trim behind his shoulders that was buttoned with a piece of hard candy at his throat, to the point where he seemed to be flaunting his Turbo-ness, as well as a blue tunic with a deep slit in the front that was embroidered with candy shapes, white pants, and blue shoes. Though still a bit ridiculous, his appearance was far less goofy and whimsical than it had been at Liwak’s Arcade. Judging by his clothing, he appeared to be seeking a more authoritative look, though his behavior remained as effusive as ever.

I decided to draw out the outfit I described in chapter five of Arcade Ojata. Once I finished the design, I sent it over to @springbon-t-art who then created this masterpiece! This is my third time commissioning her and I still manage to be surprised by how SCRUMPTIOUS it turns out. Thanks Spring!

Decided to do some fan art for another fic I really like (that I feel doesn't get nearly enough attention!), and that's Arcade Ojata!! I absolutely love this story so far, and I'm currently thinking up ideas on scenes I wanna draw. But in the meantime, I wanted to draw a simple one, and this is my take on Ojata Princess Vanellope! I added the normal one in because why not XD 

As always, I like blending both the canon designs with my own flare, so this is what I came up with! It may not be entirely accurate to the story but that's fine, I'm just having fun doing my own thing (hopefully the author of the story doesn't mind lol). 

Forgive any anatomy mistakes, for some reason I just struggle to draw kids and I think they look a little older than nine but oh well. I tried 😅

Princess Vanellope’s “Tootsie Roller,” Arcade Ojata

Its handling, speed, and sweetness shared similar stats to the Candy Kart back at Litwak’s. Both had been baked into being within the Kart Bakery bonus level, using the same model kart option. But unlike the Candy Kart—a cute catastrophe of frosting, sprinkles, cookies and gumdrops—the Tootsie Roller had a prominent theme to it, much like the other racers’ karts. Taffyta’s kart was of pink hard candy, Rancis’s kart was of peanut butter cups, and so on. As for the Tootsie Roller, its yellow cake body was frosted dark brown with white, then red, then white stripes of frosting running lengthwise down its center. Its rear wheels were giant tootsie pops, its front wheels were standard tootsie pops, and its headlights were a couple of lime-flavored fruit chews stuck in the frosting. Six mini tootsie pops, three for each side, lined the unfrosted flanks, their stems jutting up past the body of the kart. They lended the ‘Roller that appearance of pride that no Von Schweetz’s kart would be fully-baked without.

Like my previous pinned post, I drew the design as described in my chapter, then sent it over to @springbon-t-art who illustrated it in her style! The details she adds, such as the shine of the tootsie pop wheels, the dripping frosting, and the spongy quality of the cake, make it so much tastier to look at. Hopefully I’ll have this next chapter posted within the next few days 🤞

How would the Turbotimers react to having a crush in somebody? P.S. Are you comfortable with an x reader of Turbo Ojata and his twins?

Lol I've been expecting this ask :3

Turbo (ESTP): he'd deny it with all his being while simultaneously making all the most obvious attempts to impress them. For example: He'd offer to take them for a drive around their game (his crush gets the respawn safety net since he's a gentleman before all else) and then he'd proceed to pull out all the craziest stunts he knows, perhaps not understanding that not everyone is into that sort of thing.

Charger (ESFJ): of all the 'Timers, he'd be the most open about his crush. He'd talk about them all of the time. When around them, he'd be both uncharacteristically timid and eager to show his care for them, such as making sure they're truly 100% comfortable with whatever risky misadventure Turbo has in store. Then he'd probably lose his lid when Turbo inevitably put his crush in harm's away, which would shock anyone who's only ever seen the good-natured side of him

Diesel (INTP): honestly no one would even know he has a crush except for Turbo and Charger. If anything, the person he has a crush on would probably assume he disliked them, since he'd seem to intentionally avoid eye contact with them. Random gestures out of the blue... maybe a small, but thoughtful gift handed to them wordlessly... would totally send the crush for a loop.

I don't have any official orientations for them. It isn't relevant to my fic and I'm fine with whatever art or stories or headcanons people want to make with them, so long as people also understand that I don't necessarily "endorse" them!

How smart are the TurboTimers? Diesel is a hobbyist mechanic so i imagine he has some above average knowledge on math, physics & such. Sorry if im bothering you i just really wanna know more things about them.

They each have their own intelligence types. Diesel's strength is practical / mechanical intelligence; Charger's is emotional / social intelligence. Turbo would call himself street smart, though considering how many times he's almost gotten himself killed, that isn't entirely true. As he is the most skilled racer of the three and someone who loves hands-on challenges, he has a high kinesthetic IQ (intelligence involving physical activities, movement, coordination, etc.)

Since Charger's favourite candy is chocolate, what are the other Turbotimers favourite candy?

Diesel like lollipops, Turbo likes taffy. Even though he almost drowned in the taffy swamp once

Do the TurboTimers have any fears or phobias?

Do they have any pet pevees?

What type if person would they be most likely attracted to?

Would they help a lost child?

None of them have phobias (at the moment). However, the events of Arcade Ojata are definitely going to impact Turbo's self image in a very negative way. He's always had the fear that he's bad for his twins and their lives would be better off without him. The knowledge that a Turbo out there not only ruined his twins' lives, but got them unplugged is going to haunt him big time.

As for pet peeves... the TurboTimers are pretty protective of each other and ready to stand four wheels down whenever someone makes an off comment about one of their own. Which can get them into scraps pretty often, such as with the "Bad Dudes," which is mentioned in one of the chapters. Like all siblings, they have pet peeves when it comes to each other as well. As we see in Arcade Ojata, Charger dislikes when Turbo acts too blunt or insensitive, and Turbo dislikes when Charger takes a moral high ground with him.

In terms of who they'd be attracted to, I don't really have any concepts for that aspect of their characters. My only romance-related tidbit about them is that it isn't something they're interested in at this stage in their lives.

Last but not least, would they help a lost child? Diesel, being the most observant of the three, would probably be the one to notice that the child is lost. Charger would immediately dedicate himself to the issue, providing words of comfort and assurance, asking them questions to find out where their parents are. Turbo would be a bit annoyed at the situation and try to shunt responsibility to someone else at the first opportunity. I imagine the child being fascinated by his cool guy persona, Turbo would notice and appreciate this, and then he'd end up being sad when the child parts ways after finding their parents. As a way to fill the sudden emptiness, he'd suggest that maybe they should sneak into Raw Thrills and adopt a baby dinosaur. That would end well
