I think that was around the point I decided to selfship with her honestly. Seeing so many notes about how she's never felt like she's allowed to be herself because she doesn't look like/isn't the person who others want her to be...and the fact she tries so hard for them, even if there's a CHANCE they'd like her for her....

And I immediately was like, "How could anyone want Amethyst to be anyone other than herself? She's wonderful as herself!"

And so I made my insert to show her just how much she's adored. Cared for. How beautiful I think she is, not just what she can change into...

🎞️: What ‘canon’ scenes would the fandom point to as evidence for the validity of your ship?

MY BIG DREAM/IMAGINING FOR THIS IS MY NOTEBOOK. It's one of those side romances very similar to how Jamie is seen with his own crush but like. I'M NOT DRAMATIC. Amethyst and I hang out a lot too, and I think the times we will laugh at the same jokes or maybe we blush at the same time is defs evidence before they are canon.

SU fans be scraping through every single piece of info they can find like 'LOOK THEY'RE IN LOVE ITS TRUE!!!'

👀: How does your ship with your f/o influence both of your characterisations and the world? Would there be any interesting metas written about your dynamic?

I think Amethyst would be a bit less insecure about herself and abilities. Because I'd be hyping her up and constantly cheering her on about how much I love her and her form and everything about her! And she likewise is p similar in her care. I think a big meta people would dive into detail about is how I usually go to protect Amethyst from things as best I can first and foremost, and there'd be a lot of pieces where it's explored. Amethysts feelings are probably also deeply involved in them too, and that's really a big thing about it for fanfics i'd feel.
