"Now that I can allow, mom." Jim smiles softly, soon focusing back to making sure breakfast is ready. Once he got everything prepared, he got plates and silverwares out of its designated cabinets before serving pancakes, eggs, and hashbrowns mixed in with a bit of onions and bacon onto the plates. "Breakfast is served!" He announced brightly, looking over to see how his mom is doing with the tea.

"Javi..." Karl trailed off in surprise, a soft smile plastering across his face. His heart melted as he then leaned over, planting a kiss on Javier's cheek too as well. "Gracias, Javi...I'm-...I'm proud of you too as well. I appreciate you trusting me. Not a lot of people trust me, you know?"

As for the band of Creepslayerz, he's genuinely impressed that young Pepperjack has improved. Sometimes, Eli reminds Karl of how he was when he was younger. He closed his eyes tightly, trying not to break down. A simple proud of you definitely made him emotional.

"I'm fine, Blinkous." Karl huffed out with a hint of irritation, breathing heavily. He's still getting used to being the Trollhunter as he turned to cast a glance over to the troll. The troll who's mentoring him.

It seems like he's still adapting to a whole other world. "I am responsible for protecting humankind and trolls, I can't take the time to rest. Besides...it's bad enough I'm already juggling between my job as the teacher and this job as the Trollhunter!" He pointed out, pausing in his exercise. "I just..." He's trying.

"I just worry about the possibility of putting my colleagues and students in danger due to...what I was chosen to do."
