Aubrey hates herself, she really does. Is it so ridiculous that a building was just set on fire and all that she’s worried about is whether or not she’s going to get her belongings back? She couldn’t care less about the trivial things - save for maybe her favorite pair of heels and a designer bag or two - but all the pictures, notes, letters. She should be glad, grateful that everyone including herself is safe. But every memory of Adrianna is up in her room and she’s sleep deprived and a little shell shocked and the whole situation has her unraveling at the seams. So she does what distracts her best, she cares for others, which leads to her flitting around, offering tea and coffee to every familiar face. Her mother is occupied with the rest of the staff so after a brief hug and some quelled worries, she disappeared to aid the unruly situation and Aubrey was left to her thoughts. How dangerous. “Tea? Coffee?” It’s clear she’s practically in hysterics, lips pulled into a smile that doesn’t quite reach her eyes. She looks exhausted, but it’s the only method of coping she knows. “It’s a bit cold now. I can fetch something warmer if you’d like.”
