The time has come! Sign ups for the CaitVi Big Bang are officially OPEN!

To sign up, fill out the form that applies to you:

AUTHOR | ARTIST | BETA

A quick note: you can only sign up for one role as either an author or an artist. If you're a writer who also wishes to beta, go ahead and fill out both forms. Artists, there will be an option on your form to sign up to be a pinch hitter (substitute who steps in to create art for a fic if the original artist can't complete their piece).

Once you’re all signed up, you’ll receive a welcome email (with a link to our discord) within 24-48 hours! Joining the server is required, but don't worry, you don't have be super active on it unless you want to be!

WELCOME TO THE CAITVI BIG BANG!

We are thrilled to be launching a Big Bang fest for Caitvi and hope you’ll join us for the journey!

For those new to the concept: a Big Bang is a two-decade old fandom tradition designed to bring writers and artists together to tell one story in multiple formats. Writers create novel-length fics (20,000+ words), and artists choose a summary that inspires them to create accompanying fanart.

Our goal is to spark creativity, encourage collaboration, and help the community connect in new ways.

We’ve been working on this for a while and can’t wait to see what you all create!

Hi cupcakes!

We’re so excited to see how hyped you all are for the Caitvi Big Bang!

With sign-ups opening in just one week, here’s a quick rundown of what to expect:

Sign-ups officially open on July 15, and you’ll be able to join as an author, artist, or beta reader. The forms will be available via Google Forms, and you’ll need an email to sign up (we recommend using a fandom-specific one that doesn't display any personal details). We’ll use that email for important info, like the invite to our Discord server!

Speaking of Discord, we’ve built a dedicated space for everyone in the fest to chat, share ideas, hype each other up, and join writing/art sprints. While joining the server is mandatory for participation, there’s no pressure to be super active—it’s mainly to keep communication smooth and announcements in one place.

Big Bangs are all about creativity and collaboration, and we’d love for you to be part of it. We can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll create!
