A quick note: you can only sign up for one role as either an author or an artist. If you're a writer who also wishes to beta, go ahead and fill out both forms. Artists, there will be an option on your form to sign up to be a pinch hitter (substitute who steps in to create art for a fic if the original artist can't complete their piece).

Once you’re all signed up, you’ll receive a welcome email (with a link to our discord) within 24-48 hours! Joining the server is required, but don't worry, you don't have be super active on it unless you want to be!

Please read the following rules/information before applying for a card.

Expectations Surrounding Behaviour

-Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, or anything else along these lines will not be tolerated and you will be blocked from participating in this event and any future events if you demonstrate such behaviour.

-Be respectful and kind to other participants and other ships as various ships are offered in this event, so please be respectful. If you cannot at least be respectful and kind, you will be blocked from this event and any future events.

NSFW/Sexual Themes

-I will not offer sexual prompts but you are free to interpret the prompts as you wish. 

-If you create sexual content from the prompts but are under 18, you will be blocked from participating in this event and any future events. 

Form information/Applying for a Card

-This event offers bingo cards focused on the ships Meljayvik, meljay, melvik, and jayvik or cards focused on Mel, Jayce, or Viktor. You can select what you want in the form.

-The bingo card sizes offered are 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5.

-You will be asked to provide an account for either email, tumblr, discord, or bluesky for me to send your card to. 

-This event also offers the option for themed bingo cards. So if you have any theme you would like (such as au’s, for example) you can request this in the form.

-If there is anything you do not want in your card, you can also request this in the form. There is also a section to add any information that you would like me to know. 

-You can apply for a card as many times as you would like.

After Applying for a Card

-I will send a confirmation message to you that I have received your application. If you do not receive this message after 24 hours, please either send me an ask or dm on Tumblr so that I can figure out what happened. 

-You will receive your card within 72 hours of the confirmation message. I will message you directly if I need more time. 

Posting

-You are not required to do any of the following when posting:

>If you are posting on Tumblr, please tag me at @mjv-events so that I can see your posts.

>If you are posting anywhere else, feel free to dm me the link as I would love to see your work.

-You are not required to complete any of the prompts, this is for fun so I will not apply any pressure to complete/do anything with your card.

Arcane Secret Santa

Happy Holidays, let's celebrate with some Arcane Secret Santa! You will be required to complete and post your gift by the 25th of December.

Brief explanation: you give a prompt and you'll receive a prompt to draw or write. Then everyone will receive their prompts back as a gift. Prompts don't have to be holiday or Christmas related, as long as they're Arcane related they will be accepted.

I came across this idea of a secret Santa for fandoms (found it in the supernatural fandom, if you're curious) and it's too good of an idea for me not to run for the Arcane fandom!

Information/Requirements

You'll provide an Arcane themed (can be about a specific character, ship, or more general such as a scene) prompt for another person to write or draw a gift for you and you'll receive a prompt to draw or write a gift for another person. Your prompt doesn't need to be related to the holidays or Christmas. As long as it's Arcane related, it'll be accepted.

Writers will be required to write at least 500 words and artists will be required to provide a coloured drawing. This is to ensure everyone receives gifts that have similar amounts of work and effort. You can go over these requirements as these are just a guideline.

You will receive your prompt on the 30th of November and will be required to complete and post your gift by the 31st of December. If you aren't able to post in time or complete your submission, please contact me as soon as possible so we can make sure everyone receives their gift. All participants are required to post their gift onto Tumblr and tag their gift recipient (who they won't know until posting).

Arcane Hallo-week 2022

This event was created to combine both our love of Halloween and Arcane and it’s characters!

We released a poll at the beginning of this process to let you all vote on the prompts for this event and you all spoke loud and clear! We are so excited to officially release these prompts and see what you all create!

What is Arcane Hallo-week?

Arcane Hallo-week is a week long 7 day event dedicated to celebrating spooky season with the characters of Arcane!

Each day there will be two prompts given - You can use one or both prompts in your creation and the prompts are completely up to interpretation!
