Just finished Arcane Inheritance (4 or 4.5/5)

I'm going to jot down general thoughts then return to writing more thorough thoughts as I surprised myself with the number of pages i tabbed for reference. Another book I was drawn to that's focused on memory and archives, also very cool to read about a bisexual Jamaican lead, im waffling on the rating because I selfishly want more but it's a solo read from my understanding.

Also wanted to mention this book has a modern gothic vibe plus does what a lot of speculative horror attempts which is a new realism mobilization, which to me feels like an alternative history being introduced by the writer.

I'm also participating in a Malazan empire book challenge and found some local book clubs I'm excited to start too, will probably post about that too.
