Highly dependent on the motive.

If one simply wishes to be rid of another, I suggest psychological torment until they destroy themselves.

That, or few clean shots through the head and heart if you’re impatient.

But, small word of advice. If one wishes to preserve any part of the brain, for any sort of intentions, stab the heart. Not all the way through, but just enough.

Their death will be slow enough to do what you wish with them and painful enough to lack much protest in most cases.
