30 Day Filipino Challenge - Pangalawang Araw: Libro - Myghad nakalahati ko na din 😂😂 sinimulan ko sya nung 2nd week ata o 3rd week ng July, pero tinamad ako basahin 😂😂 -------------- Bale, tungkol 'to sa dalawang babae na nag aaway sa lupa (yep, inde tungkol sa lalake, phew 😅😅) Si Caridad, ung pangunahing tao, ang totoong may ari ng lupa dahil namana niya ito sa kanyang magulang, at siya mismo ang nanirahan doon noong bata pa siya bago pa man mangyari ang Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig (WW2). Fast forward ng matagal na panahon, namatay ang pinagkalooban nilang mag alaga ng kanilang lupa, si Osyong. Pagkadating niya doon, nalaman-laman lang nila na ang lupang pinaglakihan niya'y binenta na ng hindi niya nalalaman! Tinanong ni Caridad kung sino, at dito na papasok ang ikalawang babae, si Nyora Tentay. Si Nyora Tentay naman, ang babaeng matagal nang nakatira sa lupang iyon na binenta pala ni Osyon. Ang kanyang buhay sa lugar na iyon ay halos katumbas na niya ang buhay ng reyna: reynang mabagsik sa kanyang mga alagad. Ipinaglalaban ni Caridad, siya ang talagang may ari ng lupang kinatatayuan ng tirahan ni Nyora Tentay. Sa kabilang dako naman, dahil nga'y binenta ito ni Osyong at dumaan naman sa "legal" na proseso, agad na sa kanya ito. ------------- Sa katotohanan, dapat tinapos ko na to, kasama ung dalawa pang libro na hiniram ko sa kaibigan ko 😂😂 pero nang maalala ko na buwan ng wika ngayong Agosto, tinigil ko siyang basahin nun at sinabi kong babasahin ko siya ngayon. Magsusulat ako ng buong book review pag natapos ko ahahah 😄😄 at ipopost ko na rin ung sa 30 Days Buwan ng Wika challenge (hindi pa ngayon... alang stable net connection eh 😑😑) Sa mga nakakaalam ng libro, magpakita kayo haahahha 😂😂

Just a couple minutes ago I had just finished my latin homework and was checking the JROTC HEADS 2015-16 group chat on facebook when i got a call over facebook. It said that it was from tull, so i picked up and hesitatingly answered (when brandon finally answered hello, i said that i heard a bunch of nerds, to which he did not hear it but andre did). At first all i heard was rustling and andre talking with someone (and that got my attention), so i obviously assumed it was a butt dial for a couple seconds before discarding the idea (if it had been a butt dial, it would have been made by the phone, not through facebook). Then brandon started talking to me about how my first staff meeting went (good, i got to yell and have people be quiet, specifically jake bearar). It moved on to other things; to "dont be a tool" (i made sure to let my wit run wild), siblings coming to SJC this coming school year, arceos disappointment at losing a bunch yesterday, me "kicking andres ass" at COD, and a couple more things (andre left to start talking to tulls bro and i think they were playing with guns, tho not real ones, as we were conversing). Then, tull suddenly bid me adieu and i said bye and the call ended. It was quite possibly the most random, but most heartlifting, thing that has happened to me in a while (it was nice to hear from them out of the blue, and specifically to enquire about my life). To make a note about the COD thing, yesterday was arceos birthday party. We had started by playing CAH but then later moved onto COD. We started with deathmatch (everyone shooting everyone) and andre proved himself to be the obvious best (he is crazy good: #ThatDreamIHadWhereIKnewItWasADreamBecauseIBeatHimAndChapAtCOD, i did actually tell him that during that first game). Obviously when i first went in I was bad (but not NEARLY as much as lauren). We later moved onto team deathmatch, where justin and i won and moved onto the final winner round where we went up against andre. The entire game lauren kept laughing at me for the terrified noises i would make and the fact that i would practically just repeat whatever order justin gave to me (Andre had been laughing at these things in my earlier games). In the last 2 seconds, i got the winning (last) kill against andres team. We beat him. I beat him. The score was 3200-3000 us, nearly twice what the scores had been in other rounds. I still cant believe it (tho at this point im saying that it was luck). Everyone laughed when i said that i was prouder of this achievement than i was getting colonel. Also, i think sgm foster thinks im an evil genius with a masterplan in the works

Chappie Arceo taking ten minutes to purchase his ticket and having to send chap down to check on him and me and andre talking alone while they did that (rifles in second, not in college, sat class with jesse) Sitting next to andre in the theatre, and jesse on my other side giving commentary Andre and his beanie Andre and chipotle and sofritos (and chap ordering) In chipoltle, doing my "white girl" impression to arceo and andre having noticed and looking so fudging done (but trying not to smile?) Chap, andre, and I all wearing converse Andre and I wearing fake leather jackets Andre and I making practically the same jokes or comments, past (his story about the hokey poke) and present (im glad wearing still really similar) On the way home, me making reference to a joke me and andre knew, and him remembering (even if i cant right now) He even told me about the pacquiao fight Trying to direct Chap to the right house "the one with the lamp" and him getting it wring and misunderstanding and Andre crumpling in his seat from laughter Yesterday at around 10 pm, I got a text from Chapman about if I wanted to go see the movie Chappie with him today. I found it really amusing too cause tomorrow were going laser tagging with the raiders group. So I said of course (well, the next morning because I didn't know if my streets were gonna be clear of the snow at the time). I got there early (to be sure I got my ticket without fear of judgement by my peeps). I was really only expecting Chap (even though I knew he'd be inviting others), so it was much to my surprise when I saw who he walked in with. They didn't get there till about 4:11 so I waited for them in the upstairs part of the movie theatre (downtown silver spring). Time stopped for a moment when I saw who walked in: Chap (of course), Arceo (not too surprised), jesse (surprised), and Mr. Andre Andrada (to say I was surprised doesn't come close to how I felt in that moment). Being completely honest, the moment I saw Andre I started shaking; it was a small little tremor but it wouldn't go away. It was so wonderful talking to him again: he hadn't changed a bit (well, maybe a little). He had mustache (which tbh was a little patchy) and a little chin beard. They both completely work

Last night was Reg and it was a ton of fun. I went with Jack and danced with Charlie and Carlos and Noah and others. Jack said I had good dance moves. Apparently Arceo's date bailed on him so he took his sister (which was adorable). Later I went up to get a drink and he was standing up there with Marcos, so I went over and started talking with them. He had one of those fake bowties that clips together, but it was undone so it was just his bow hanging sideways from his collar. He then pulled me aside and started venting to me about how his date pretty much ditched him. Its nice to know he trusts me with that information and to vent to me. For a lot of the dance I chilled upstairs with him on the railing watching everyone dance. Lauren was trying to get him to smile, so one of her attempts was getting us some cake. He chose chocolate, I chose vanilla. At one point as I was eating, he wordlessly "stole" a bite of cake off my plate. It was adorable. About a minute later I took a bite of his. It was great. Because he had an interview the next morning, he decided that he was gonna leave early. I was gonna go in for a handshake, but he went for the hug, so I went for the hug. It was a nice hug, but I was sad that he left before I could initiate my plan (tho they never played the song in the end so...).
