[21:44:44] AA: She puts her fingers on his mouth. "I'm sure I'd love to. Now stop talking before you hurt yourself. Just show me where we're going to curl up and drink 'tea' (air quotes) until the bad movies are good."

[21:46:14] QC: He gestures to the kitchen. There's a pot of tea on the table next to a big bottle of alcohol.

[21:54:23] AA: "Thanks." She goes in there and helps herself to a drink that is about 90% alcohol, with just enough tea in there to say she bothered to put it in. But at least she's only sipping at it for the moment.

[22:05:20] QC: He makes his way into the livingroom, flopping onto the couch, scooping up his own cup and the remote.

[22:14:07] AA: She waits for him to flop down before finding a relatively comfy spot to curl up on him and drink her drink. "Thank you."

[22:26:17] QC: Wow no fair she told him not to talk so he has the choice of typing out a reply, or brushing her off to drink the tea. "Any time." he's nothing if not obstinate.

[22:33:20] AA: "I know you're welcome. Just do really simple things and make a movie go, and I'm sorry in advance if I cry on you. I can't deal with her too right now, but as long as she leaves you and Sollux alone I don't care what she does." This is mostly true. And if he can't drink his tea, that sounds like a personal problem, because she's having no trouble drinking hers.

[22:45:01] QC: he pets her hair and sips his tea, situating the remote under his iffy hand to poke the buttons

[22:52:08] AA: She purrs at Kankri, nuzzling up under his chin. It does finally occur to her a little that this might be inconvenient in his sem-incapacitated state. "You want me to work the buttons or your drink or something?"

[22:53:07] QC: The remote is nudged into her reach and he wraps his arms around her, setting his drink aside to poke at tumblr for a few moments.

[23:00:17] AA: Now it's her turn to poke at the buttons which are very nice and pretty despite being one hundred percent plain buttons on a remote. She's happy to let him online if it means she gets snuggled like this. There's only a vague attention paid to whatever is playing at the moment. It doesn't really matter. She's got the warm fuzzies starting from her booze and it's nice.

[23:01:48] QC: His chin rests on her head and he hugs her close, happy to let her snuggle while he tries to poke answers out of his moirail.

[23:04:23] AA: "Is he okay?" She saw it too but if he won't talk to Kankri, then he's certainly not going to want to talk to her about it.

[23:06:40] QC: There's a huff and a sigh. "Not sure. Won't say."

[23:09:14] QC: "He's fine." It's a little bit of a lie but there's apparently a limit to what he can do for his poor brother.

[23:11:02] AA: "Mkay. Good. But if you need to go take care of him, just lemme know. And leave me a sweater or something. Maybe I'd just lay down in the couch." Whatever smells like him.

[23:15:11] QC: His cheeks color slightly and he hugs her. "'course." Little words do no harm.

[23:16:10] QC: "Do need to go to him really quick..."

[23:17:21] AA: "Yay" Even though he then says a minute later he's got to go, she's still smiling. Giggling, she floats herself off him so he can get up and tend to Karkat. "Going up!"

[23:22:53] QC: He slides out from under her, pulling his sweater off to present it to her with a kiss to the cheek. Then it's off to hunt down the brother creature.

[23:28:27] AA: Purrr. That is one very happy Aradia. She can't very well wear both sweaters reasonable so as soon as he's gone, hers is off and on the floor, being replaced by his before she decides to wander herself back to the kitchen for more drink. Once retrieved, she'll wait patiently on the couch for him, idly watching the movie and working her way through her 'tea.'

[01:30:47] AA: When we last left Aradia, she was curled up on Kankri's couch, watching some undetermined shitty movie, drinking 'tea' that was 90% alcohol and a splash of tea. Just enough she can say she it was in there. This was her second mug, and she made fairly short work of that one as well as she had the first. By the time anyone comes back, she will be mostly asleep, happily snuggled in Kankri's sweater, her own on the floor in front of the couch.

[01:32:33] QC: Much to Kankri's amusement. he pats the top of her head to get her attention.

[01:35:47] CG: Karkat followed his brother back into the living area and looked at Aradia, feeling a bit insecure about the bandages around his arm but knowing Aradia, she would understand. And that thought made him feel a little better. "What are we drinking? Anything good?"

[01:38:13] QC: Kankri gestured to the table with its teapot and something akin to vodka perched beside it. "more tea than alcohol or I'll lay on you and drink it all" its a whispered threat and promise.

[01:39:51] AA: The happy smiles at his return are replaced by a frown when she smells latent blood. Bandaging the cuts doesn't change that. "Where's Karkat!" Oh there's Karkat. It's not a second Kankri. Because there are like four of him now. "What happened to your arm!"

[01:40:56] CG: Okay maybe drunk Aradia isn't as good with shit like this. He frowns and puts his hand over his arm instead of pouring himself some tea like he first moved to do. "I cut it on something. I'm fine though."

[01:42:05] QC: Kankri flops back to the couch, bringing his tea to himself with a soft sigh. Drunk Aradia. Oh boy.

[01:44:54] AA: She scoots over onto the other side of the couch. Very drunk, just awakened Aradia. It's the latter that's more important. She looks at Kankri, chirping. If it was just an accidental cut, then why had Karkat been so reluctant to say something about it?

[01:46:33] CG: Karkat pours himself some tea then, not bothering to continue with the conversation on the subject of his wound. He just went ahead and sipped his tea, sighing as he sat down on the floor and leaned back against the couch.

[01:50:23] QC: Kankri gives his friend a meaningful 'we can talk about it later' kind of look, laying himself down in the space everyone has decided to vacate so as to be close to them both. "what are we watching?"

[01:52:29] AA: "We are watching Kankri shut up unless you're going to say something useful." In other words, she's still concerned and also has no idea.

[01:53:49] CG: Karkat sipped his tea and leaned back against the couch again, glancing at his tea and moving to grab something else to drink in the meantime, wanting to have a bit of alcohol with his tea.

[02:07:39] QC: Kankri rolls his eyes at her, then holds his cup for Karkat. there's a little more in his than his brothers.

[02:09:23] AA: Kankri gets a tongue stuck out at him briefly. He better listen or she will smack him upside the head. Lightly, of course.

She squints at Karkat as he moves around, almost tempted to get some actual tea now. Almost. "Sure you're okay? Don't usually need help wrapping up my cuts. Don't usually need to wrap em." Yeah okay she should probably shut up now, but it's time to mother her 0.5 of a boy whether anyone wants it or not.

[02:12:42] CG: "I told you I'm fine." He takes the drink offered to him by Kankri and sips it, resting his head on the couch and sighing while he does. Needless to say his words come out rather harshly, but he can't help it.

[02:15:08] QC: there's a reproachful, yet gentle, tap to the top of Karkat's head.

[02:17:54] AA: She doesn't buy that at all now based on the way he said it. Her ears go down. Even with Kankri's scolding gesture, she feels like she's intruding now. Unfolding her legs, she stands, mostly steadily. "I should go. Sollux and," vague, wavey hand gestures that literally mean nothing.

[02:18:50] CG: "Mn." Karkat gave a little noise to his head being papped and he shoots Kankri a look before sipping his drink again, tilting his head back to down it quickly.

[02:22:55] AA: "Wasn't a lot," she scoffs when she deciphers the message. It was a lot. "I'll be fine. Fly away aa and be home in minutes. Promise." That part's mostly true.

[02:24:27] CG: He tilted his head to look at Aradia, frowning some at her. "You don't have to go. It'd probably be better if you stayed the day here."

[02:37:57] AA: She gets very huffy and grumbly, but sits down again, crossing her arms over her chest and glaring at them both. She's been worse off than this before and been fine.

AA: Pulling on something presentable means exactly jack squat since she was never undressed. She has the same ratty t-shirt and jeans she was wearing at Sollux's. He's never impressed one way or the other by anything she wears, so it's all about comfort around him. It should also be noted that when Feferi greets her, Aradia will smell as if they took a certain psionic's odor and distilled it into a perfume, which she then bathed in. The only thing lacking is sexual musk, because they didn't do that while she was there.

CF: Feferi is in her ever present one piece with a pair of old tattered shorts on above it. Nothing too out there, she doesn't have herself dolled up. She didn't feel the reason to be dolled up, since at this point the princess saw no real reason to look her best around someone she had no chance of being flush with. No chance at all. The seadweller was quick to give her a hug, however, not minding the smell of mustard nerd on her. Its not like she didn't have hints of the same smell under a strong salt water scent, a sexual musk no longer lingering as it did the day before. "Hey Aradia.." It was nice to see her again..

AA: Well, at least they're on the same level fashion wise, these days. She fixes a smile on her face. The attempt at making it seem warm doesn't quite reach her eyes, making it lean toward the frightening more than happy. Hopefully, Feferi doesn't dwell on this too much when they're done hugging. Her voice is bright and cheerful though. That's easy to do. "Hey Feferi. Thanks for having me on such short notice. It's been far too long since we've hung out."

CF: Feferi wasn't all too phased by her more frightening smile, giving one of her own. More of a "I could easily tear your throat out" sort of grin. She was relieved to hear her bright and cheerful voice again, giving a quick nod. "It has been!" The heiress didn't want to go back to not talking to her. Aradia was her friend no matter what and she cant let pettish things come between that frondship.

AA: It's hard to be afraid of someone's ability to tear your throat out, when you could hurl them through a wall faster than they could bite you. Of course that would never be necessary here. Not at all. But it's still nice to have it as an option. Aradia heads further inside, finding herself a seat to make herself comfortable in. "So what have you been up to? Did you go anywhere interesting on that vacation of yours?"

CF: Feferi couldn't help but want to wrap her arms around Aradia and forget that what happened never happened. She exhaled loudly as she leaned back on the couch. "Nofin reelly. I found some cool skulls and treasure." She shrugs her shoulders, "What aboat you?"

AA: She listens politely to the small talk she doesn't actually care all that much about. Normally, she'd have been all over hearing about the skulls, excited and wanting to see or at least hear more about them, but there's barely a flicker of interest. Even her reply to the return question is relatively flat and apparently meant to be nonchalant. "Oh you know. The usual. Scavenging. Practicing ways to hurt things with my whips. Hanging out with Sollux. You know, nothing /out of the ordinary/."

CF: Her fins drooped down when she was given such a flat response. Oh. the seadweller moved her legs up to her chest and rested her chin on her knees. "Fun. So... Didja want to talk aboat anyfin?"

AA: Aradia almost seems pleased by the subdued reaction."Sure! I know you probably haven't thought about it as much as I have, but what do you suppose would be the absolute worst way you wouldn't want to die?"

CF: "If you just came here to threaten me you can leave." Feferi sneered before letting her expression fall and returned her head back down on her knees.

AA: "That was an honest question, and I figured I might as well ask it before we're no longer speaking at all. What makes you think I have a reason to threaten you?" She's curious to see if and how the sea dweller will tell her what she already knows.

CF: "Sollux. Both of us know what went down." She sighed and then stood up, adjusting her swimsuit a tad before dropping her hands to her sides. "Anyfin else?"

AA: Close enough. "Actually, I'm intensely curious how it is you seemed to have learned exactly nothing from the incident with Karkat and thought it was a-okay to go shoving your bulge inside a guy who had NOT agreed to it prior to being compromised by something I can count on one hand the number of times he's even noticed when it happened to him before. Which he tells me he noticed this time at all because of Feferi suggested breaks."

CF: "I'm making sure he isn't overworked, Aradia! And he agreed... He's not mad at me for it." She takes a breath, not looking at her. "I didn't think anyfin bad would happen, and he wanted to..."

AA: A growl starts, very soft, but definitely audible in her words. "He agreed WHILE he was IN HEAT. Of course he wanted to! He just wanted it to stop! Anyone with any shred of decency knows that the word of a heat stricken individual doesn't count. Didn't think anything bad would happen... At what point do they stop schoolfeeding highbloods? Because you need to go back and take a few dozen refreshers on pretty much everything."

CF: Feferi looked up and stared at her for a long moment before walking out of the room. She couldn't hear this from her. Not from her. She was quick to get to the hole in the floor, jumping down into the water and swimming down. She couldn't handle this?

AA: "Unfuckingbelievable," she mutters, simply watching her run away. While Aradia could contrive a way to follow her or get her back, Feferi could get away faster than the maroonblood could adapt her powers in such a complicated manner. There's also the matter of communication which would be nigh impossible for her under water and not worth it above if she were to drag her back. The princess was a spoiled coward, plain and simple.

She wouldn't be back any time soon, and Aradia has no desire to hang around this place that stinks of sea dweller any longer than absolutely necessary. Welcoming Feferi when she chooses to return will be a note warning the royal that if she touches Sollux again in any way without his express written consent given in an absolutely irrefutably uncompromised state, she will become so much chum in the water. It's signed with her full name and a smear of her own blood she bit her finger to draw.

The only reason Aradia was so restrained this time is to avoid upsetting Sollux for the second time that day. But she felt no need to be so merciful in the future. The time for leeway and understanding is now over.

She grabs his hand and makes him feel her sides. She's still thin, but not underweight, not even as much as he is. There's other criteria too, but she's choosing not to mention it at the moment, since it's the cause of her earlier rage.

[19:30:20] TA: He purses his lips thoughtfully and pats her side approvingly. "Okay but don't go playing hero and giving me all your food when you don't have to." He knows your game.

[20:39:44] AA: His assurance of what she already basically knew makes her smile. "I don't know why you haven't already. I'm right here, ready and willing to be on full pillow duty." She scoots back down some to make it more comfortable for the both of them.

[20:42:07] TA: as soon as she's comfortable he drapes himself over her like a bony sollux blanket, pressing his cheek into her shoulder. He settles there, purring softly for a few minutes before the sound quiets a little... "Hey, AA?"

[20:49:05] AA: She pets him, enjoying the sound of his purring and returning it in kind. "Hmm?"

[20:51:12] TA: "Sorry... for letting you down. and making you upset..." the petting is nice, and entirely welcome, even if he's not quite sure he deserves it
