And this one takes place as soon as Sollux stops his clinging and lets her go get her things. Feferi's was a stop on the way there. In other words, it's later the same day/night/whatever.

AA: Pulling on something presentable means exactly jack squat since she was never undressed. She has the same ratty t-shirt and jeans she was wearing at Sollux's. He's never impressed one way or the other by anything she wears, so it's all about comfort around him. It should also be noted that when Feferi greets her, Aradia will smell as if they took a certain psionic's odor and distilled it into a perfume, which she then bathed in. The only thing lacking is sexual musk, because they didn't do that while she was there.

CF: Feferi is in her ever present one piece with a pair of old tattered shorts on above it. Nothing too out there, she doesn't have herself dolled up. She didn't feel the reason to be dolled up, since at this point the princess saw no real reason to look her best around someone she had no chance of being flush with. No chance at all. The seadweller was quick to give her a hug, however, not minding the smell of mustard nerd on her. Its not like she didn't have hints of the same smell under a strong salt water scent, a sexual musk no longer lingering as it did the day before. "Hey Aradia.." It was nice to see her again..

AA: Well, at least they're on the same level fashion wise, these days. She fixes a smile on her face. The attempt at making it seem warm doesn't quite reach her eyes, making it lean toward the frightening more than happy. Hopefully, Feferi doesn't dwell on this too much when they're done hugging. Her voice is bright and cheerful though. That's easy to do. "Hey Feferi. Thanks for having me on such short notice. It's been far too long since we've hung out."

CF: Feferi wasn't all too phased by her more frightening smile, giving one of her own. More of a "I could easily tear your throat out" sort of grin. She was relieved to hear her bright and cheerful voice again, giving a quick nod. "It has been!" The heiress didn't want to go back to not talking to her. Aradia was her friend no matter what and she cant let pettish things come between that frondship.

AA: It's hard to be afraid of someone's ability to tear your throat out, when you could hurl them through a wall faster than they could bite you. Of course that would never be necessary here. Not at all. But it's still nice to have it as an option. Aradia heads further inside, finding herself a seat to make herself comfortable in. "So what have you been up to? Did you go anywhere interesting on that vacation of yours?"

CF: Feferi couldn't help but want to wrap her arms around Aradia and forget that what happened never happened. She exhaled loudly as she leaned back on the couch. "Nofin reelly. I found some cool skulls and treasure." She shrugs her shoulders, "What aboat you?"

AA: She listens politely to the small talk she doesn't actually care all that much about. Normally, she'd have been all over hearing about the skulls, excited and wanting to see or at least hear more about them, but there's barely a flicker of interest. Even her reply to the return question is relatively flat and apparently meant to be nonchalant. "Oh you know. The usual. Scavenging. Practicing ways to hurt things with my whips. Hanging out with Sollux. You know, nothing /out of the ordinary/."

CF: Her fins drooped down when she was given such a flat response. Oh. the seadweller moved her legs up to her chest and rested her chin on her knees. "Fun. So... Didja want to talk aboat anyfin?"

AA: Aradia almost seems pleased by the subdued reaction."Sure! I know you probably haven't thought about it as much as I have, but what do you suppose would be the absolute worst way you wouldn't want to die?"

CF: "If you just came here to threaten me you can leave." Feferi sneered before letting her expression fall and returned her head back down on her knees.

AA: "That was an honest question, and I figured I might as well ask it before we're no longer speaking at all. What makes you think I have a reason to threaten you?" She's curious to see if and how the sea dweller will tell her what she already knows.

CF: "Sollux. Both of us know what went down." She sighed and then stood up, adjusting her swimsuit a tad before dropping her hands to her sides. "Anyfin else?"

AA: Close enough. "Actually, I'm intensely curious how it is you seemed to have learned exactly nothing from the incident with Karkat and thought it was a-okay to go shoving your bulge inside a guy who had NOT agreed to it prior to being compromised by something I can count on one hand the number of times he's even noticed when it happened to him before. Which he tells me he noticed this time at all because of Feferi suggested breaks."

CF: "I'm making sure he isn't overworked, Aradia! And he agreed... He's not mad at me for it." She takes a breath, not looking at her. "I didn't think anyfin bad would happen, and he wanted to..."

AA: A growl starts, very soft, but definitely audible in her words. "He agreed WHILE he was IN HEAT. Of course he wanted to! He just wanted it to stop! Anyone with any shred of decency knows that the word of a heat stricken individual doesn't count. Didn't think anything bad would happen... At what point do they stop schoolfeeding highbloods? Because you need to go back and take a few dozen refreshers on pretty much everything."

CF: Feferi looked up and stared at her for a long moment before walking out of the room. She couldn't hear this from her. Not from her. She was quick to get to the hole in the floor, jumping down into the water and swimming down. She couldn't handle this?

AA: "Unfuckingbelievable," she mutters, simply watching her run away. While Aradia could contrive a way to follow her or get her back, Feferi could get away faster than the maroonblood could adapt her powers in such a complicated manner. There's also the matter of communication which would be nigh impossible for her under water and not worth it above if she were to drag her back. The princess was a spoiled coward, plain and simple.

She wouldn't be back any time soon, and Aradia has no desire to hang around this place that stinks of sea dweller any longer than absolutely necessary. Welcoming Feferi when she chooses to return will be a note warning the royal that if she touches Sollux again in any way without his express written consent given in an absolutely irrefutably uncompromised state, she will become so much chum in the water. It's signed with her full name and a smear of her own blood she bit her finger to draw.

The only reason Aradia was so restrained this time is to avoid upsetting Sollux for the second time that day. But she felt no need to be so merciful in the future. The time for leeway and understanding is now over.

[14:55:51] TA: Sparks jump harmlessly around his horns as his brows pull together over his glasses. "I... I'm ... " his arm goes slack in her hold and he looks down at his lap. Her words hit him hard. "Dontgoaway..."

[15:11:23] AA: She studies him. The sparks are a sign of distress, not aggression, so they don't worry her in the same way as they might someone else. His entire posture is one of complete and utter shame. Sollux doesn't talk to very many other people. Mostly work related and... She drops the arm. Pushing herself backward slightly, wearing asomething beyond horrified expression on her face. "No..." she practically whispers. It can't be. Not Sollux.Not /her/ Sollux.

[15:20:05] TA: The arm drops to his lap. Her backward movement doesn't go missed, either. It's like a punch to the gut... The only person who's ever been there for him... "... Oh." a pause while more harmless sparks fly around his horns, fizzling out ineffectively in the air above him. "oh..." AA let go. AA backed away... Tainted... Oh... "You... You don't want me anymore?"

[15:23:39] AA: "Tell me I'm wrong, Sollux. Tell me I'm crazy. It was someone else. Tell me she wasn't that fucking /stupid./" Aradia knows she's not wrong, but any shred of hope she can cling to she will for as long as possible.

[15:38:29] AA: A part of her can see how much she's hurting him, but she also can't seem to stop the rage and venom spewing out of her mouth either. "Except for the part where you were that bad off. Instead, you chose to let the most idiotic conniving troll on the planet 'help' you. Do you see why I don't trust her now? Do you? Or do I need to grab some supplies and paint you a picture?"

[15:49:00] TA: "Pleathe..." There's a whimper in his voice. He's never had AA's anger turned on him before, that he can remember (he thinks he'd remember if this happened before) "Pleathe A... pleathe Aradia." Tainted? Yeah. Tainted sounds like the right compliment for broken... "... I..." he can't even focus on anything right now. "Tainted...?"

[15:55:02] AA: (He would, and he is right that it hasn't.) Her ears go back. Sollux shouldn't be whining because of her. This is her fault anyway. All of it.Taking his face in her hands, she presses a kiss to his forehead. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I wasn't with you like I should have been. I should have known better. I /did/ know better. And I still wasn't here when you needed me."

[16:06:30] TA: Her hands on him sets him sobbing brokenly. Aradia was never so angry with him before... "Imlikethehivenowwww" It comes out mushed together and drawn out all at once, his mind fixated on her earlier words, drumming up the ever present self loathing he feels as a regular course of every day life and amplifying it.

[16:36:29] TA: his arms surge up and he wraps himself around her, pressing his face into her shoulder.

[16:40:11] AA: She enfolds him in her own arms, purring and rubbing her face on him. She may or may not be deliberately mixing their scents as much as possible, but Sollux doesn't need to know that right now. "I am going to need to go get some of my things soon though, since I didn't bring any of them with me, but I promise I'll come back when I do."

[16:42:30] TA: He chirrs back at her, clinging just a little tighter. He's not quite ready for her to go, now that she's calmed down.

[16:46:41] AA: "Not right this exact second, silly. When you say it's okay. If I'm going to be staying here, I want it to feel more like my hive though. Plus these clothes would get pretty smelly if I had nothing else to wear ever. Unless you want me to start stealing yours, but those would just look ridiculous on me." Not to mention they probably wouldn't fit either, but her mission right now is to make him feel better through any means she can, including shitty humor.

[18:16:14] TA: He snorts into her shoulder, relaxing a little. "...Alright. But only 'cause you'd look thtupid in my thtuff."

[18:18:11] AA: Yes. Relaxing Sollux. She chrrs happily, purring louder. "Good. Besides. It's not my fault my boobs are better than yours. What is up with that? Get with the program, Captor."

[18:40:04] AA: "I don't know who, because I've never been /that/ hungry." Yes she has. "I'll stick to petting your fluff and getting free electroniic2 out of you."

[18:42:48] TA: "Bring me your broken, your dithmantled technological methheth..." He gives her a gentle headbutt. "Let'th not be hungry again. ever." he says that now.

[18:54:26] AA: Statute of Liberty Sollux ftw. She headbutts back, kissing his nose. "We won't. I promise."

[19:02:05] AA: "Don't I always come through, nerdlord?" she scoffs. She really does, even if it's at her own expense, Sollux doesn't go hungry when she's around.

[19:04:58] TA: That gets her face a ton of kisses. "I thaid 'letth' which meanth you and me both."

[19:14:04] AA: She grins. Sollux kisses are the best kisses. "Do I look like I'm starving to you? I'm not starving. I eat more often than you do Feel." She grabs his hand and makes him feel her sides. She's still thin, but not underweight, not even as much as he is. There's other criteria too, but she's choosing not to mention it at the moment, since it's the cause of her earlier rage.

[19:30:20] TA: He purses his lips thoughtfully and pats her side approvingly. "Okay but don't go playing hero and giving me all your food when you don't have to." He knows your game.

[19:32:47] AA: Her cheeks flush. God damn it, boy. You are not supposed to be on to her. "I won't. I'll just work harder and get more. It'll be easier now that we can contact more people. I still have money leftover from that silly featherbeast I stuffed for mister director."

[19:34:02] TA: "I can earn more with the upgraded tech here, too, tho you won't be doing all the work."

[19:45:02] AA: She makes a face. "Yes." This is something that had occurred to her, but Aradia is not too keen on acknowledging it at the moment.

[19:53:52] TA: "I don't want you doing all the work to take care of uth, AA. It ithn't fair."

[20:00:57] AA: A heavy sigh follows this insistence. "Fine. I don't want to fight with you about this. I don't want handouts either. If you didn't work for whatever it is, don't expect me to be willing to take it. Okay?"

[20:07:15] TA: He sighs and nods. "I won't give you anything I didn't earn with my own work."

[20:16:08] AA: "Thank you." What he does with things is his business. As long as they have that understanding, she has no reason to be able to object further. "I'm not sorry I'm being stubborn about that, but free gifts are rarely free when you're dealing with highbloods, and the higher the blood, the worse the backlash will be if you don't deliver on your end later."

[20:18:54] TA: "Yeah..." He tries not to cringe at the unbidden memories of horrific unauthorized photographs that float around the net... "I know..."

[20:24:25] AA: Sometimes she wonders, but that's not constructive to say. "Good. I just thought it could use a refresher. Sorry." There may or may not be a few of those of her if he looks in the right place.

[20:32:17] AA: That's entirely up to you whether he has or not. It is of little relevance in the grand scheme of things unless Sollux makes it hold some. It was simply a statement of fact for now. "It's my job. And I can't be slacking off. I wasn't kidding when I said how much you mean to me." Whatever she thinks of the choices he makes.

[20:35:09] TA: "Good 'cause you're the most important for me, too." Even the hint of an idea that she wouldn't be around him anymore was enough to terrify him, after all. "...can I go back to laying on you?"

[20:39:44] AA: His assurance of what she already basically knew makes her smile. "I don't know why you haven't already. I'm right here, ready and willing to be on full pillow duty." She scoots back down some to make it more comfortable for the both of them.

[20:42:07] TA: as soon as she's comfortable he drapes himself over her like a bony sollux blanket, pressing his cheek into her shoulder. He settles there, purring softly for a few minutes before the sound quiets a little... "Hey, AA?"

[20:49:05] AA: She pets him, enjoying the sound of his purring and returning it in kind. "Hmm?"

[20:51:12] TA: "Sorry... for letting you down. and making you upset..." the petting is nice, and entirely welcome, even if he's not quite sure he deserves it

[21:07:30] AA: Whether he deserves it or not isn't important. He's getting it right now because he needs it. "I know. You made a mistake. You trusted someone you thought you could at the wrong time. And I couldn't be sorrier I wasn't there to make sure this didn't happen. We both fucked up here, big time, but we'll get through it."
