@rxseguided : Jesse stumbled into his office and took a seat in front of him. She stared before parting her lips to speak. "Elijah." (have an archangel ;3 )
Elijah looked much the same as he had the day she passed, immortality looked very good on him. He couldn't even feel the time ticking by anymore, he was just passively existing in a world all alone.
In the years after, Elijah kept himself busy. He took over his company again, turning CyberLife into an even bigger empire than it had been, now global and far more powerful as it held the market for nearly all electronics sold. Everything had the CyberLife name, and everyone knew Elijah Kamski. Rumors would spread, whispers, that Kamski could have been an android, replacing the original who must have died in private. But he was very much alive, even if he didn't feel like it most days.
He didn't even make the android of his departed love. He couldn't do it. He knew for all eternity, until his time came and he was dropped down to hell for the rest of it, he would just be alone. So, instead, he embraced it. Long years passed, as he continued to be that private businessman he had been once upon a time.
This day, he had been alone in his office in the Tower, looking out over the city. Idly, he twisted the ring on his left hand, the only sentiment of his love that remained. Another anniversary come and gone, and just the longing in his heart for the ones he lost. The years didn't quite make it any easier.
But then... A shift. He felt her power before she stumbled in, a brightness unlike anything he'd felt in a long time... And yet so familiar somehow. He turned to face her, his eyes widening as he stared. It couldn't be true, " Jesse... " He breathed, " My... My goodness, is it really... You? " He stepped around the desk to stand before her, looking her over.
