if we're still doing school trips that got schools banned from something, my school got banned from going to the Ploughing Championships because we started a mud fight that made the local news.
I mean, there’s surely no better place for a mud fight
The buzzing in his head was quieter. Or further away. He couldn’t decide. It definitely was not as loud as the two syllables he could hear Isidora shouting somewhere above the inky blackness of sleep. He had to shake off more than a few layers of grogginess before he recognised them as his name.
There was room to think. Room to say no. It was like someone had dumped a bucket of icy water down the back of his chainmail. He threw a hand up over his eyes and groaned. “I’m up. I’m up.”
“Good.” Isidora’s usually melodious voice was sharp as a knife. He winced and shoved himself up onto his elbows. The bard was standing by the door to his room, hands on hips and a scowl on her face.
Ranaan scrubbed the sleep from his eyes, trying to push the muffled staccato into the back of his mind where he could ignore it better.
“Ranaan!”
He winced at how loud and bright Isidora’s voice was. Had it always been that way? Was it just a hangover? Or had the sticky swarm in his mind muffled everything?
“I… I don’t know where Coda is,” he managed to say. Why did she think he knew where Coda… oh.
“Well, Esme said that Rizbit said that you two…” Isidora trailed off with a pointed stare at him, and Ranaan didn’t need her to finish her sentence. Memories began trickling in past the awful buzz, and a sudden vice clamped around his chest.
Cᴏᴅᴀ’s ɴᴏᴛ ʜᴇʀᴇ.
It was the first thought he could attribute to his own voice in gods knew how long. The other side of the bed was stone cold. He placed a hand on it, running the other through his hair and resisting the urge to pull.
“Look. Get up and go find him. We’re leaving for Dagdum soon.”
Isidora left, and Ranaan stared at the closed door for several moments afterwards, trying to wrestle his thoughts into some sort of workable order.
He threw himself out of the bed and buried his face in the washbasin on the desk. The cool water did nothing to mute the angry hissing in his head, and he whimpered out a stream of bubbles. He kept his head under the water until the burn of his lungs begging for air drowned out everything else, and only when the edges of his blurry vision began to go black did he throw his head back and suck down a huge gulp of air.
He realised that his machete was missing as he laced up his boots, and his sword hand began to itch with the desire to pull it back to him. The buzz grew louder, surging into his consciousness and making him wince. He clenched his fists so hard that his fingernails drew blood from his palms.
Gᴇᴛ ᴜᴘ. Gᴇᴛ ᴜᴘ ᴀɴᴅ ғɪɴᴅ Cᴏᴅᴀ.
That thought was his too, and it was immediately plagued with bitterness and self-doubt. Coda hadn’t stayed. That much was glaringly obvious, and it stung like a slap to the face. Did Coda want to be found? Did Ranaan even want to find him?
He pushed himself to his feet and steadied himself on the door frame, the vice clamping around his chest again and making him gasp like a frightened child. The angry buzz of voices surged again, vicious and unrelenting.

I've only just seen Holland but I do know that Widowmaker and hanzo can have a fun dynamic, they're both snipers, so kinda like how Kell and Holland are both antari?
That’s originally why I never stopped to consider Reaper as an option, because Widow and Hanzo’s potential for banter. But idk

Digimon confuses the heck out of me.
I asked my son to explain it to me, and it really does sound like Pokemon... but digital...?? ,,,,somehow?? Then he started talking about zombies and platypuses and cyborg platypuses, which I’m assuming are not part of the show. XD
