I just did a tin roof on Autocad 3D and it's so beautiful that if I could I would kiss myself (If the professor makes us change it I will punch him in the face)
whenever I finally get to Europe you better believe that I will geek out so hard at every palace, cathedral, and arch it's gonna be embarrassing
80 slides on the history and greater concepts of sidewalks...what has my life come to?
All my scale figures are either squiggles and dots or Slenderman.
It has been a very long day todayI have officially been up for 40 hours straight. Finished my rhino project on time, but now I have a pinky cramp from constant rhino-ing D: gigantic snowstorm today, and of course carleton still thinks its ok to have class although it is totally pretty outside. I can soon peacefully curl up in bed for the next 10 hours :)
I'm starting to try and move pages with my mouse like how I move the canvas in autocad.....
Architecture, Procrastination, and Multi-tasking
I know for a fact that it's not just me who can't focus on doing one particular thing when doing architectural plates, and I just want to know why. Are our brains hardwired to work on several things at once?
An example would be my current plate: Gothic Architecture in Europe. We are required to draw three different cathedrals in great detail and I can't focus on one cathedral. I have drawn and rendered one cathedral, drawn and half rendered the second, and drawn and detailed the third. I have to switch from drawing to detailing and rendering because I can't just draw, I can't just detail, and I can't just render. I have to switch from one to another JUST BECAUSE.
WHY WHY WHY
And I have to go back and forth between my drafting table and my laptop because I get so bored that I end up just staring at my paper D:
