Archie Panjabi returns to prime time with a secret husband and a naughty new plotline
"Someone asked me in the beginning, 'How are you going to play her sexuality?'" Panjabi remembers. "I said, 'I'm not going to think about it.' If that's her genetic makeup, why would I analyze it? She's attracted to both sexes; she's attracted to their minds. What's been rewarding is, nobody makes a big deal of it. They don't refer to her as 'that bisexual,' or 'that Indian girl.' "People say, 'Kalinda's Kalinda.' I think that’s a great way forward for characters on TV."
