In the late 80's I was introduced to Old Time Radio. In all those years, and reading Archie comics a long time ago as well, I never knew about this until it showed up on my Spotify. I didn't know the comics were that old either. I even got confused by the last name. I remembered it as Bumstead, but that Dagwood 😂 Now I knew about Old Time Radio because of The Walton's and such, but I really never gave it any thought. Back then there was only one radio station in my region of Northern New York that played shows at night. NPR or WWOR But on Tune In Radio they don't edit the commercials to get rid of the tobacco advertising. I hate that. And Sci-fi Old Time Radio a couple years ago started playing a bunch of Star Trek and other modern shows, and I don't like that either. Those are programs we watched for 20 years.
