Tickle Therapy Archie Hopper x teen!reader Authors Note: Eep this is my first fic!! I hope you guys all like it! I know I said I was doing a Hamilton fic but I started rewatching Once Upon A Time and I got reminded how absolutely precious Archie is so this kinda just came out hahaha. Also the ending reminds me of my therapist bc when I was younger she used to take me for ice cream near her office :) Warnings: discussions of homophobia Y/N knocked on Archie’s door, Spencer by her side. “Hey, Y/N! Come on in,” Archie grinned. “See you in an hour, Spencer.” “Have a good session sweetheart,” Spencer smiled and left. By the time Archie had turned around, Y/N flopped down on the couch and curled up into a ball, facing away from him. “What’s up, Y/N? You seem down.” Archie asked, sitting down on the chair next to her. “My dad’s an asshole,” Y/N grumbled. “Now, Y/N, what did I tell you about using that kind of language?” “Great, now you sound just like him.” Archie paused. “Do you want to talk about it?” She shook her head. “Is there anything I can do to cheer you up at least?” Archie asked. “No,” Y/N shrugged, pressing her forehead against the couch. Archie sat with her for a minute before getting an idea. He grinned. “I think there is,” Archie knelt down next to Y/N. “There’s a specific type of therapy that I haven’t used with you yet, but it’s guaranteed to cheer you up.” “What is it?” Y/N asked, annoyed. She still wasn’t looking at him. Archie got down lower so his face was right up against her ear, his hands ready to pounce. “Just a little something I like to call tickle therapy.” Before Y/N could jump away, Archie grabbed her and started tickling her all over her stomach and sides. Y/N shrieked in surprise and burst into giggles, grabbing at his hands and trying to pry them off. “See, it’s working already! You’re smiling,” Archie laughed with her, spidering his fingers over her ribs. “Ahaharchie nohoho!!” Y/N yelped, hiding her face in the couch so she didn’t have to look at him. But he got up from the floor and onto the couch with her, pulling her into his lap so she couldn’t escape. “Aw, what’s wrong Y/N? Does this tiiiickle?” He teased, digging his fingers into her hips, eliciting multiple adorable squeals from her. “Ohoho, is this a bad spot?” Y/N could barely breathe she was laughing so hard, but she managed to nod and slap at his hands again. Archie laughed. He moved his hands up to tickle her neck now, the kind of soft tickling that kept her giggling breathlessly. “Nohoho more,” Y/N choked out. Archie stopped tickling her, and Y/N jumped out of his lap, sitting down next to him on the couch. “That isn’t really a therapy that I usually use on anybody, but uh.. did it at least cheer you up a little?” Archie asked. “A little,” Y/N shrugged. She paused before continuing- “I told him.” Archies eyes lit up. “You told him? That’s great-“ “He didn’t take it well. We got into a massive fight, he threatened to kick me out. It was bad." “He doesn’t want to accept that you’re bisexual?” “No. He keeps saying that I’m an abomination and I'm going to hell but I can’t control it.” Y/N sighed. “I just want my dad to accept me. He’s the only family I have, he’s supposed to love me for who I am, isn’t he?” “You deserve to be loved and accepted. Telling him was brave and for what it’s worth I’m always gonna love you and accept you, even if no one else does. Don’t forget that,” Archie squeezed her shoulder affectionately. Y/N started to tear up a little, but she choked it back. “Thanks, Archie.” She smiled. “Hey, why don’t you text your dad and tell him to pick you up a little later so I can take you for ice cream?” Archie suggested. “Really?” Y/N grinned, and Archie nodded. “To celebrate you coming out,” Archie smiled. They both stood up and headed for the door, but before they left Archie turned her around. “Hey,” he got her attention. “I’m really proud of you.” Y/N hugged him, and he wrapped his arms around her tightly. She was smiling. Archie grinned. His therapy worked.
