Found another Inuksuk! Kind of feels like it just sprouted out of nowhere. It’s in the same area as the other Inuksuit that I’ve shared.

This photo also features part of Iqaluit- you can barely see it, but one of the buildings in the back (on the left side of the photo, in the middle between the white dome at the very left, and the blue and grey warehouse directly behind the “head” of the Inuksuk, at the very back with the kind of sloping roof) is the Iqaluit airport- it’s the nicest and biggest airport in the territories. But maybe I’m biased.

*Reminder please do not build random Inuksuks or cairns while out exploring, especially if you are in national parks. There are posts floating around on tumblr that explain why better, I reccomend glumshoe’s blog. Building cairns in rivers is dangerous for animals that live in the water (falling rocks) and can also disrupt their breeding grounds, and building markers, which is what Inuksuks and cairns are, without care can cause people to get lost if cairns are being used as path markers.
