[  ....  ]             ever  since  he  and  maggie  had  come  back  from  woodbury,  glenn  had  been  placing  himself  in  an  isolated  box.  he  didn't  mean  to  shut  anyone  out,  especially  maggie,  but  the  amount  of  guilt  he  that  was  consuming  him  from  the  inside  out  was  enough  to  make  him  do  rash  and  selfish  things.  he  had  been  spending  nights  alone  in  the  watch  tower,  refusing  to  sleep  or  even  go  so  long  without  eating,  all  his  thoughts  engulfed  in  the  haunting  memory  of  what  happened  to  him  and  to  the  love  of  his  life.  he  couldn't  look  at  her  ...  it  just  reminded  him  of  the  failure  that  he  was.  the  one  thing  he  was  supposed  to  do,  protect  her,  and  he  couldn't  even  do  that.  so,  there  he  sat,  in  the  watch  tower  alone  and  continued  to  stare  out  into  the  nothingness  of  the  night  all  to  avoid  confrontation.

@arden1ly is getting a holiday starter for Maya

The difference between Christmas in New York and Christmas in Texas was...astounding really. Christmas was always chaotic. Full of people and plans. Their entire extended adopted family gathering at Corey and Topanga's.

But here in Texas....things were a lot calmer. Just them, her Dad's family. Sometimes her grandparents if Katy and Shawn flew down.

She wasn't sure she liked it.

Which was why Maya would find her outside, on face time with Donnie (Donnie Minkus, Regular Best Friend) trying to arrange a rescue.

"Your grandfather has a private jet...you could be here in like three hours...."

Like her mother before her, Chelsea chose to enter the Matthews's apartment through the unlocked bay window. Now a guest room due to the kids having moved out ages ago.

She was late to the festivities due to some last minute shopping and so thought if she could slide in.... no one would actually notice how late she was.

Of course, the idea that NO ONE would hear her entrance was just ridiculous. And so she wasn't exactly surprised when she turned to see Corey standing there.

This   woman   was   a   kind   soul,   Fawn   could   sense   it   -   and   so   she   held   no   qualms   about   fluttering   down   upon   her   open   palm.

"H-Hi   there   ...."   she   began,   a   tad   awkwardly.   "...I   think   I'm   kindaaaa   lost....   have   you   seen   a-   ...."   and   then   she   paused   with   a   furrowed   brow.

Could   she   even   understand   the   fae?   She   seemed   different   from   other   'humans'   but   ....
