The festival was a success, Ignis was coming to an end and in a short 12 hours, it’d be over. The last night was the most fun night, some people only came to spend the last night. Ignis was a haven for witches and wizards of england, and today would be the last day they could consider it so.
Beneath the laughter and freedom, an infiltration was happening. During Hermione Granger’s speech, there was rays of light, and fireballs being thrown. Ardere was lit, their beloved town hall, going up in flames as people looked around to see who had caused such a horror. The wizarding world wasn’t used to any attacks, nothing bad had happened since the days of Lord Voldemort.
This attack was planned, as the ministry workers were first to be targeted. Several heads of security were missing and worst of all.. When the world needed her most, Hermione Granger was nowhere to be found. Panic ensued as everyone began to look for their friends and family and found a few individuals to get the worst of the attack.
The aurors were scouring the areas to find who did the attack and how they appeared to be unseen, but no one was focusing on the big issues.
The hoard of muggles that were standing there with phones and cameras.
The Wizarding World had been discovered and this was an incident too big for them to be able to erase.

Heyo! Our first plot drop!! So tldr; the wizarding world is discovered and a few people were hurt (message us to let us know if you’d like your chara to be hurt!!)
Hermione Granger is missing as well as most of the other important ministry workers. Mostly just random NPC, Harry & Ron and the gang are still okay.
The characters that were hurt can be utp how much they were hurt and where they were when the attack was happening. They’re being flown into St Mungo’s to be checked out.
Venturing into the muggle world is not forbidden but it is a scary time and wizards are actively working on erasing the muggles of their memories. The general public has been erased but there are muggles who know.
The muggles were behind the attack, so the wizarding community is in active danger but some random pedestrian in london won’t figure it out.
Anyone who was in attendance at the festival is not allowed to leave England (in our case they must reside in London or Ardere).
Hogwarts is cancelled :(
Ardere’s wards are back in working condition and there is a constant auror watch happening.
