She wasn’t the most composed drunk, being an extremely happy one, a trait that allowed her to enjoy drinking and not worry about turning violent like her father. Hanji did enjoy it, and usually ended up phoning her best friend during these drunken episodes. 

And that’s just what she did, giggling down her mobile as she pressed it against her cheek so that she didn’t drop it while she walked back to her dorm. “Leeevi!” She cheered when he picked up, “Y’know I might be drunk but I know I need you” Hanji giggled to herself as she whispered the dumb line. She couldn’t believe that had been said but she was on liquid courage. “You and some strawberry milkshake”.

Hanji had no idea how to break the news to Levi. It had taken a while for them to get to this point, Levi finally opening up a little more about their relationship. She had too big a heart to see his face when she told him. But this wasn’t something Hanji could text to him. Seeing him climb through her window she took a breath and tried to look happy to see him. She was. Really. Just a little distracted with her thoughts.

“Hey Peter” Hanji smiled, she’d called him Peter once he started climbing through the window during the night, “How’s the lost boys?” she teased, leaning back against her bed, putting her laptop to one side and pulling her covers back to let him in.
