Something nice that happened to me recently is that for the first time ever I've started dating and am going on date 3 on Saturday! Also I want to bake you cookies, wrap you into a soft warm blanket, and give you hugs :3
Well isn’t that exciting! I remember when I was about to turn 25, and had only really ever been on one date, I decided to change that. Now, I only went on a few before I was in this weird quasi~relationship that fucked me up a bit, but whatever. Remember to have fun!!

When my husband came down with very severe complications from the H1N1 flu, I drove him to the doctor despite his insistence that he did not have pneumonia (ha, it was beyond pneumonia) and the emergency room eventually (despite not being comfortable driving in the city), stayed up all night for two nights in a row beside his bed in the ICU, actually thought he might die because he had to be intubated because his oxygen saturation would not stay above 90 and they did not know what he had and were considering the scariest things like lung cancer (labs were closed because it was Christmas, and oh what a Christmas I had in 2009), did a ton of research when I did go home for the night and came back and made sure the doctor knew about the latest research on corticosteroids and ARDS, and generally took care of him while he was sick for well over a month.
Yeah, that’s the bravest I’ve ever been.
