she is an absolutely terrible pet owner and i dont think that she should have ANY animals to be quite honest. especially if her son is going to continue living with us, as he readily admitted to kicking one of our dogs for biting him when she was scared. i hate my stepfamily. (if i hear him admit to [or see him straight up] hurting one of them again i am going to report him for animal cruelty.)
and yeah, if you arent going to free feed your cat dry food but still want to give them the dry food, you definitely need to also give them wet food to ensure they are the healthiest they can be.
