Oh dear. Grumpy husband is grumpy. The Netherlands lost their Euro football match.

Now, neither of us care much for the sport but...it's the Netherlands. His homeland. Naturally, he's going to support the team.

Time to burrito cuddle the man.

The hour is late, but tonight the two of us simply cannot sleep. Arend has developed an annoyance for the way things have been going on in the UK to do with the Queen, and likes to criticize many issues brought about in the media.

I've heard by word of mouth that several conspiracy theorist groups out there assume that either us or the Templars have actually killed the Queen off, all with delightful explanations too. Clearly... that's not the case for us - we definitely have no reason to. As for the Templars? Well...I wouldn't think so on that front, but ya can't trust them anyway.

Arend won't admit it, but he likes to gossip and argue on the internet. I warn him if he's not careful, it could lead to repercussions. He whines, but accepts defeat.

Not usually one for coffee, I'm surprised when he accepts my offer of one. Of course he's not impressed when I do tell him it's decaffeinated.

That grumpy pout of his is ridiculously cute, but I know he's absolutely fine, and he actually relaxes.

Promises not to get involved again with tabloid discussions. I think I believe him, ha.

Guess who's back .

|| So, ooc for a moment. I started rereading the Assassin Creed comics recently, and today I re-noticed Arends note to Harlan. He makes a habit of writing these notes before each mission, in case he dies. He burns them, if he survives.

This recent notes, he writes, is just incredibly thoughtful and moving. He ends it by saying, "I love you". He puts his heart and soul into it. He says he even /cries/ when doing this.

Arend Cunningham is just one, big adorable bear, with a huge heart to match. I can only imagine how fiercely they care for each other, and love one another.

Please, Ubisoft. Future story creators. Please give them the coverage they deserve. ||

"Spent all night being within Arends arms - one of the few places I can truly feel safe. I wake up, to begin myself my morning coffee and..I find he's taken up the whole bed. /Again/.

I also find myself sitting beside my husband, watching him continue to rest...this being my turn to 'protect' him.

Which I will never tire of doing - I think, as I gently caress his face with my fingers. He's...a heavy sleeper. Yet still, he smiles in his sleep as I do such an action.
