Innocently smiled over at the knight, And lifted his sword into the air. — Looks at you with the fact that Flor ..ran away (in better terms) from ANAKT for a little bit, went to the nearest spot or place that at least has someone around, someone that can at least give 'Lorashishimboaninisshuori' (Seb's old name, I like to think that maybe both Arol and Eddy renamed him to Sebastian) the bare minimum of being taken care of (he's 2 when he's given to Eddy), because she can't continue to do it anymore and she is so close to being 18-19, and that is when the season probably started around and that was the age of her death (she had him when she was close to 15, so practically 14 but she says 15), with her round being the 12th. Of course the lyric is not a perfect 1:1, but it has always made me remember that small fact, and how I went about it on my end ..

I actually dunno the origins of AREPH in-universe (I know the reason why it was made, not how it was made), but something like that. Tbh, most of the lyrics don't make any sense with the characters at all, but the ones that do make sense override the ones that don't, so. Yeah
Back when he had met her first he saw a symbol sewn on her clothes, Of the Imperial family crest. He thought if he had this child with him, maybe then; She’d be useful hostage that he could use later on. — "hostage" and what Leonhart thought at the start aren't how Eddy accepts the fact that he'll be taking care of a baby/toddler. Iirc, Eddy didn't really have any experience with other humans. So, there's that.

Is really your true parents’ murderer. — This will only make sense, with a weird logic that (I think) the majority of the fans of ALNST think (moreso the ones when it comes to Luka and his tactics). AREPH is an organization created by ALIEN STAGE. "Is really your true parents' murderer", so in some weird fucked up and stupid thought process, Eddy is in hindsight responsible for Flor's death. But that's only with the weird thought process that some have with Luka, and how he ""killed"" Till in Round 7 (which is bullshit if applied to the other rounds; mizi "killing" sua, till "killing" ivan). But without this thought process, the lyric doesn't match up and . shrugs, yeah. That's it

Many things are bound to occur when fighting upon the battlefield. Victory, losses and hatred, living by your dumb luck, and above all, treachery- Before he realized, soon the knight was surrounded by a group of foes great in number. It was clear enough by the clothes that they wore that weren’t the standard soldiers. — actually makes me think of the idea on how Sebastian gets taken away and then shortly adopted by Von... I don't know how I'll go about this though. But the idea is close enough, imo. So
“Hand over the child that you have in your possession” said a woman who dressed in an old black robe, If he did so, it was also probable that they’d shortly after murder her. Surely this was all a stroke of luck, though, as for the knight that was what he wanted, right? Because at the start, after all, that was why he’d taken the child long ago. —Tbh, I think the one fitting the role of the woman in this scene is Orian, tho not exactly? The lyrics, again, are not the perfect 1:1, but it does at least make some sense inna way. The rest doesn't make sense, so.. shrugs.
Somebody then suddenly ran right in front of them, To defend that man, a sword in their hands- Right before the knight, this small trembling back, Had belonged to the child of which his foes asked — just how the lyric states, ..yeah. Sebastian protecting Eddy... That's all I can say
Oh you pitiful little girl, Trying to protect the man you call a “father”- Even though he was, in reality, probably about to sell you off — "probably about to sell you off" can definitely mean how Sebastian got kidnapped and then maybe soon after got sent to ANAKT (I think he can also be a late comer, like Kioku is.. that honestly makes a lot of sense with a bit of the timeline, imo)
Gently patting the girl’s head, now the knight who was being threatened over her. Suddenly approached the assassins and he drew his sword... — I dunno if I should explain this... I mean, I think it would make sense given how close Sebastian and Eddy are (2 year old with a teen..so like........shrugs)

Well then, Shall we go?" — THIS PART ALWAYS MAKES ME LIKE. I DUNNO. IT MAKES ME CRAZY TO THINK BECAUSE LIKE .... WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT (starts to cry). Like. What the fuck ..... Inna way, Eddy doesn't fully fit the role of like. Guardian, of being a parent but they do fit the role of older sibling that can fill in that role. "And I don't lead a life i can be proud of", is a bit weird along with the others down the line, but like. A few words fit. A few words do fit the character of Eddy, imo. They are proud of their life, so it saying it isn't proud is just weird.

KYO, HE/HIM: Participant in the 38th season, narrative haunter in S39. Lost his final round against his best friend and love, Castor. Deceased, but with ongoing lore! He’s still available to answer asks. Again, specify modern AU for RØUND.
TALLIS, HE/HIM: Participant in the 39th season. Defeated in his first round by the notorious, love-her-or-hate-her Daiki ( @daiki1k). Alive and available for asks! She made it to the ELITE EIGHT, the name given to the final 8 competitors, after two fierce rounds against Min ( @starry-skiez) and Noora ( @kamersona). She lost against Season 39’s winner, Cirrus ( @cirrusoftheclouds). Though she’s a sweet girl, Mei’s drive to keep her closest friends Tallis and Tov ( @ivanttakethis) alive drove her to do horrible things that landed her guardian in trouble and her guardian’s newest pet human, Halo, a spot in ANAKT GARDEN. NAZ, SHE/THEY: Participant in the ongoing 40th season, she has yet to take the stage for her first round against Mentha ( @rosedeleca). Naz was deeply in love with one of S39’s sweethearts, Akane ( @aakaneeee), and fell into grief and anger when Akane was killed in a 50/50 tiebreaker against S39 finalist Tov. Now Naz’s thoughts are only filled with sadness and a desire to avenge the injustice committed against Akane. Only, becoming attached to Tov’s sister Wren (@/ivanttakethis), fellow S40 competitor, complicates things. Alive and available for asks!
YAEL, HE/THEY: Participant in the ongoing 40th season, Yael lost his first round against Innamorati ( @lulling-riot). Yael lost his only friend and first love, Macbeth (@/lulling-riot) shortly before graduation from ANAKT GARDEN and turned his feelings of infatuation on Innamorati. Inna, meanwhile, harbored feelings of anger towards Yael for his hand in Macbeth’s death, creating a relationship fraught with love, hate, and resentment. Deceased but available for asks!

LIGHT, SHE/HER: A direct relative of Season 38’s flame, Castor, Light was born with birth defects that left her without her legs, one of her arms, and half of her other. She was given prosthetics and later branded as a techno artist with a flat, mysterious, and robotic demeanor to create an aesthetic out of her disability. In a complicated relationship with Mori (@/imperfectnothing). Founding member of an idol group known as crAwl with Kafka, Nilaavu, Amara, Eunbin, Everest, and Jwi (@/lulling-riot, @chevalperd, @nottoonedin, @apple8ees, @verdantlights, @/imperfectnothing). The girls are like sisters to her, filling a void created by the volatile relationship between her and her guardian’s favored pet human, Akari ( @junebluues). Currently, leading up to S41, she’s focused on crAwl and Mori. Alive and open for asks!
HALO, HE/THEY: Adopted as Guardian Iquia’s replacement for Mei after her death, Halo wasn’t supposed to be enrolled in ANAKT GARDEN to eventually compete in ALIEN STAGE, but due to the trouble his guardian got in with AREPH, part of Iquia’s punishment was Halo being taken away and enrolled in ANAKT GARDEN to compete in the future. Physically ages slower than their peers due to genetic engineering and is marketed as childish and even coquettish to capitalize on this. Alive and available for asks!

JEAN, HE/HIM: A direct relative of Yael and Macbeth, Jean survived an attempt to drown him by Yael, who was attempting to “save” him, when he was an infant. Acquired brain damage from the incident and had to have aging sped up so that he can make it to the stage before death eventually catches up to him. Sensitive about opening up to anyone but has a reluctantly close relationship with Mica (@/imperfectnothing) and used to be close with Zanni (@/lulling-riot). Alive and available for asks!
S10/SONA SEASON
AOKI, HE/HIM: Participant in the ongoing Sona Season. Lost his first round against Kay (@/imperfectnothing) on a 50/50 tiebreaker. Descendent of a world-famous star back when humans lived on Earth who rebelled against the very first ALIEN STAGE and was killed for it. Paranoid and cynical on the inside, friendly and clever on the outside, Aoki is an enigma to the end with a close relationship with Kay. Deceased, but alive in AUs and available for asks!
FAN GROUP MEMBERS
EDDY, THEY/IT: AREPH’s first human agent. Believes they are doing what’s best for aliens and humanity. A mysterious younger sister from their past haunts them, and their compassion for AREPH captive Tallis, rebel sect leader Noir (@/lulling-riot), and younger fellow agent Axis (@/lulling-riot) keep them from being able to truly and fully fulfill their role as ruthlessly efficient hunting dog. Huge fan of S39’s Tov. Its guardian, Arol, watches over it carefully. Alive and open for asks!
ITSASO, SHE/HER: Grew up in the 39th ANAKT GARDEN class, but after her Guardian, Guardian Nabos, suffered failure in the defeat of fellow pet human Kyo in Season 38, Nabos withdrew Itsaso from the 39th season and sold her off, too ashamed to reappear so soon after Kyo’s narrow defeat. Itsaso sang at alien bars and clubs and as a party favor for a long time before former classmate Nausikaa (@/imperfectnothing) found Itsaso and convinced her to run away with her. What she didn’t know is that Nausikaa is part of a human rebellion known as THE FLOWERING MEADOW ( @the-flowering-meadow). While she isn't a fighter, she works hard on the home front to keep things running. Alive and open for asks!

"I have everything, and no he didn't know his ID number. We don't have much time left with him before he's sent to HP- wait- yeah he's going to HP, so he'll be with Eddy right?"
"Not sure who's taking his case file. That's why I said 'maybe' to Eddy finding Ignis. The only way they'd bother is if they were responsible for Clove."

"Yeah. He's a good kid, poor thing. None of this is his fault."
"I didn't think you had sympathy for any of the pet humans that come through here, Niere."
"Hush, you. Clove has no idea what he is. It's not his fault he has to burden these responsibilities. It's just what the Great Anakt gave him."
"Yeah, yeah. Here's his new file, by the way. He asked for the hair cut and if he could get rid of those piercings. We kept the one for his HP tag, though."
"Have they already started work on his eye?"
"No, they're just bandaging it for safety reasons."

We often work closely with associates at ANAKT, helping make sure all of the pets at the Garden are where they are supposed to be.
We have staff members that are human, but rest assured that they are monitored and checked frequently for any misconduct. They also are not allowed any clearance above Level 3. Do not pry into the file of Eddy.

The sound of the wind blew in his face as he walked through the empty plain-land. The sign in front of him hid his face from the scorching rays of the sun, shining hard on his bloody clothes.
Theo made his way through the open area, searching for any runaway humans. He’s not even trying to hide his presence, he never does. He’s never met a human who could outrun him, and he never will. Pale calls him overconfident, but the evidence never lies.
He felt himself grow tired and stopped to sit on a bench, placing his sign down next to him and letting the sun hit his face. He’s been out of AREPH finding humans for a few days now, barely resting, and he can feel himself starting to reach the end. Orlar says he’s overworking himself, Pale rolls his eyes, and Dricox shrugs him off, but he knows that deep down the black darkness is threatening to spill out from inside of him again.
Suddenly, he hears a sound. He quickly turns around and sees a human with bright red hair and running in the distance. He grabs his sign and chases after them, the black darkness being shoved down by something better, something golden and bright.
The human looks behind them, a nervous expression on their face. Theo’s eyes light up as he takes in that expression, assuming that the human isn’t armed.
‘This is gonna be easy.’
The human grabs a rock and throws it at him weakly, more focused on not slowing down than making contact with him. Theo chuckles as he easily dodges.
His eyes scan the human. They’re wearing a bright tank top and shorts.
‘Another stupid fucking idiot’ he thinks as his eyes notice the prosthetic on their left leg, getting an idea. He scans the scene in front of him for a rock the size of his hand, maybe a little bit bigger. He finds one and picks it up, before throwing it as hard as he can at their prosthetic.
He laughs as they fall to the ground. While they’re down, he pulls out his gun and shoots the other leg, rendering them immobile. They cry out in pain, turning over onto their back and grabbing their bleeding leg.
“Ha! Gotcha now useless scum!” Theo walks over and presses his heel into their chest, keeping them down. “You really thought you could run from me? Nice try.” He cackles as he pulls out his knife, taking in the look of pure fear on the human’s face.
His ears perk up at the sound of a motorcycle, and he dodges out of the way just in time to see him … Vic.
He let out a sad, surprised laugh. “Well well well … look who it is.” He switches his sign from one with a neutral expression to one with a more angry one. He can’t even say his name.
Vic wears an expression Theo’s never seen him wear before, one of pure anger. “Theo.”
“You know, after that stunt you pulled a few months ago I shouldn’t be surprised to see you here. But here I am, surprised.” There’s a mocking tone in his voice, but deep down he isn’t lying. Every time he sees Vic he’s always surprised, he always has been. Whether it’s because of his beauty, his voice, or the angry glare on his face that he sees in front of him now.
Vic pulls out a gun and points it at him. The black darkness creeps closer and closer to the back of his mouth as he’s hit with a sense of deja vu. He almost wants to laugh.
“Oh you're gonna shoot me again?! Go ahead!” He throws his sign down onto the ground, showing Vic the matching angry look in his eyes. “Just admit it, you only care about me when I do something you think is wrong. You never cared about me.”
Vic’s expression never waivered. He was focused. Concentrated. Ready. "I wasn't pretending back then. But I can't bring myself to care for someone like you now." He pulls the trigger.
Unlike a few months ago Theo was ready this time, as he successfully dodges and runs as fast as he can towards Vic, the black darkness finally falling from his eyes.
“You're lying!" He shouts, holding his knife up in the air. "You never cared about me, if you did you wouldn't have left without a note. Without a proper goodbye. You wouldn't have left me!" He finally reaches Vic and sinks his knife into his shoulder, stabbing him.
If Vic were anyone else, he would’ve aimed for the heart. But he’s Vic, and as much as he wants to hurt him, he would never kill him.
He backs up as Vic moves his hand to the wound, breathing heavily as blood pours out. He looks down at his bloody hand before glaring at Theo.
“There's no saving you.”
Theo glares, more of that black darkness falling down his face as the realization hits him. “So I was right … You never cared about me, you only cared about saving me. Well guess what? I don’t need to be saved!”
Vic’s grip tightened on his shoulder. “That’s not-”
“Oh don’t even fucking try. I understand now. You and your “I hate it here … I need to be set free … is it wrong to want to be free?” bullshit. You were only “friends” with me to try and save me, so when you realized you couldn’t you left without a word. I bet you told that scummy sister of yours you left.” Theo is so engrossed in Vic that he doesn’t notice the human getting onto Vic’s motorcycle.
Vic glared at him again, his hands twitching. “Don’t bring Trix into this.”
“Aw, did widdle Theo strike a nerve? Fuck you. For everything.”
Vic scoffs, slowly inching towards the motorcycle. “You’re blaming me for something that’s entirely you.”
Theo snarls. “Me? Me?! I didn’t ask for any of this! I didn’t ask to be this way. I didn’t ask for us to be on opposite sides. I didn’t ask to fall in love with you!”
Vic freezes, processing what Theo said. “... What did you just say?”
The glare leaves Theo’s eyes, replaced with a look of defeat and sadness. “You heard me.”
“Theo … I–”
Theo pulls out his gun and aims it at Vic, although Vic could tell he had no intention to shoot. “Shut up. I don’t want to hear about it anymore.” Vic doesn’t move, looking at him with a look of … something … something like pity, but not quite.
“Signs–”
“If you’re going to leave, leave now. Or else I will shoot.”
Vic knows he’s lying, and desperately wants to stay, to reach out to him. But he knows he can’t. He said it himself, Theo can’t be saved. So he sighs, looks at him for one more second, before turning around and hopping on his motorcycle.
Theo keeps the gun pointed at him as they ride off. He keeps it pointed even when he can’t see them anymore. He stands there, as the black darkness continues to flow out of him.
After another few minutes, he finally puts the gun down and back in his pocket along with the bloody knife. He turns around, picks up his sign and heads for AREPH, his hands running over the dried blood on his clothes in an attempt to calm him down.
As he’s walking, he’s hit with a realization.
At the end of the day, Vic has a family to go back to, a home.
But Theo will forever remain with a hole in his heart, broken for eternity.
The black darkness tears continue to fall.

Name: Pale— moreso surname meaning, but having pale in someone's name just means 'pale of skin, pallid'. But from the late 14c. as "fence of pointed stakes." Paler as a surname meaning "fence-builder" is recorded from late 12c. Personality: Pale, acting with grace and sophistication along with acting wittily and provocatively and also being stoic, calm, and observant, is a well-bred pet human and was raised by human scientists, so he conducts himself as someone befitting of his status. But he isn't all just a pretty face and such. He's selfish, conniving, and manipulative. Most importantly, very destructive. As he has little empathy with others and manipulated people as he saw fit, similarly willing to dispose of anyone who got in his way or whom he deemed worthy of his revenge. Raised by the human scientists got him quite power hungry since he's been raised in power and humans who are high on such power that they achieved (being respected by aliens is something you have to achieve, it's no easy and simple task, and yet they have done it so can you blame them?). But with power, comes feelings of hollowness. Troubles, and that leads to more power hunger. Having felt this from childhood, all he ever really truly felt, his clearest emotions were that of loneliness and anger at the world; being alienated in the sense that he's human raised. Giving way to the fact that he's a troubled man, wanting to connect with the lesser beings in his class. But no one knows that because he hides it well with many ways to cope with it, but mainly with a cold exterior... maybe. Having him being an enigmatic individual to them, and characterized by his curiosity, affability, and disregard for consequences. But all in all, Pale is a straightforward "do no good" man; since he disregards rules and consequences. But he is also a hypocrite (hypocrite, if he's attached he's attached.).

Pale is apart of "toxic ysosu" with amia's Vic and syd's Theo. Most? of his childhood has been explored by Syd while writing about Theo and Theo's life in the garden and before he sang. Pale was the quiet older one between them, if I remember the ages right (well ofc between him and theo), quite similar to Luka in that regard.
He went to ANAKT later, because of some complications that happened and it made him stay behind for a while.
For when he is in ANAKT, I don't think he had a collar on, because of how obedient he was (even if his obedience is just because it was needed and required). His uniform is the same as Ivan's, for that reason. A simple turtleneck, long sleeves and long pants.
Pales relationship to the teachers and aliens as a whole is nothing special, only summed up as "a pleasure to have in class". Even if he did.. slightly cause mischief. Just to see what the other kids would do. That's for the teachers. With the aliens as a whole, he's more "respected" than the others he's been around. But that's expected because of who he was raised by.
He finds all of the kids in his class dumb, yes even Theo and Vic. While he is "romantically" involved with them, he finds their humanity to be an obstacle.
He's softer on Theo, because that Innocence of belief is something he never experienced. He's softer on Vic, because of how determined he was to be set free (even if that did annoyed him).
Pales body state, is top notch. Perfect build for what he deals with in the future— he trains his arms and upper body often in the garden with the "fishes", that get progressively harder to carry.

This human is called Abel, he has a twin called Cain. And an older or maybe younger brother called Seth.
His style of clothing is shared with the alien scientists, that made Yume (minus the "neckfur" he has around his neck. It's a baby alien slug that was the reason for how he got the respect he did).
Abel... All three of them are enigmatic individuals characterized by their curiosity, affability, and disregard for consequences. And the fact that they have made scientific break throughs, a lot. Their later methods having helped with the experiments that Yume Nagai has went thru. They even suggested that he would have a last name.
Last names are something that they have an interest in. Learning about pre-alien human history; last names have always intrigued Abel the most. All of the names actually. He's interested in what purpose they have in life. And he (Abel) suggested that Yume could have a last name. Cain was the one that came up with the word.
Abel views Pale as a "son", as those seem to be the only words that fit their relation, and such. It's more reinforced with the way that his own ways have bleed into what Pale does.
But lale doesn't view him as a "father" though, because of his absence and his own general anger to the world, and with the way that he was raised.. having stayed confined in its walls, forbidden to leave except when sent to help some of the "newborns" or seeing other kids to make sure that they were alright. He was continuously told that he needed to study more and work harder if he wanted to please the Aliens.
Yes, he was working more and hard to please the Aliens. He might be raised by humans respected by aliens, but it's only a few that do respect them. So that had him grew up well educated but severely emotionally deprived. So he doesn't use the term 'owner' as that just doesn't sit right with him, so he uses the term "guardian" to call him as such.
Cain and Abel are in their early 50s. Seth is in late 40s? or late 50s.
Pale and Eeta have known each other since they were kids.

Pale does view Theo as someone only he can be with. No matter what happens. Basically, Pale initially just saw him as a means of gaining insight on what it's like to feel emotions, but over time grew to care about him and found peace from their 'companionship' together. That's the best way to put it. And he shows that lightly with making small paintings, or things similar to such.
He does not have romantic feelings nor want them. He might envision himself in a romantic relationship, but he would rather have a complicated relationship then.. that.
He has complicated feelings on the love thing. He wants it, but doesn't feel the same when it's real.

And it honestly fits with Pale, in the way he's raised- his feelings to the world, relationship with Vic and Theo, and for the simple view of it being how he's in AREPH. This is a straightforward thing from the things I picked out
His solar symbol is the planet Saturn. This one I had a hard time with, but didn't want to ask and so I decided to do this all myself. But I do think that it fits. The discipline, order, and structure, plus tough or necessary lessons (karma). A symbol of it was a scythe or a sickel for the seed-sowing times and such. The order and discipline most certainly work with him.
His flower is a Begonia Saturn, sharing the same name with the planet just because I wanted to know if there was one called as such and there is! The symbolism of it. Begonias mainly mean caution and consideration, as well as good communication between different parties. It is commonly given as a gift when paying back a favour. But the Begonia Saturn means (well, all flowers meant) deep and romantic love. They were considered a representation of passion and were commonly used in love spells and potions. Additionally, begonias were seen as a symbol of fancifulness and were often used in gardens and floral displays. I think it's fitting! The Coriander, is here because of how it's connected with his sin; lust— coriander's past as a component in love potions may seem quaint, it continues to be a symbol of wellness and harmony.
His Tarot. Now this is fun. Strength mixed with the Devil. strength, determination, and power – like The Chariot. However, while The Chariot signifies outer strength and will, the Strength card speaks to the inner strength and the human spirit's ability to overcome any obstacle. Strength is about knowing you can endure life's obstacles. But I'm mainly using the reversed! Reversed Strength meaning you have limited control over your actions and your energy is out of control. This can lead to pettiness, fragility, and abuse of authority. It's very fitting for what he does and such. How he's around newcomers in AREPH, and all I suppose. And the Devil? The Devil tarot card suggests feelings of obsession, addiction, and entrapment. It can signify a sense of helplessness due to external forces or circumstances. However, it reminds you that you're responsible for your actions, and your perceived constraints are often self-imposed. This one spoke to me as Pale, because I've been connecting him with Luka quite a lot and it fits it a lot. Helplessness by external forces? It's all fitting
His Sin. Lust. Okay, so this one seems very.. apparent with what I've done with him due to the fact that he has 3 living kids and had a one night stand with Dae, who's a horny bastard. But I swear it's not just the sexual desires to fill the hole and void. I remember lightly talking about the sins of Yun once. They have gone with "bloodlust" for the lust sin. And I really like that idea, and I hope they don't mind me mentioning them here and going with that idea. And also, technically Lust is also about being damned. In Dante's Divine Comedy, the lustful are punished in the Inferno by being swept around in a whirlwind, which symbolizes their ungovernable passions. Which I think is also fitting. Ungovernable passions, power hunger. All of that
The organ symbol, I gave him. Hands. To me, organ symbols connect to the sin. While the tongue would've worked as well, hands just felt. The hands were calling. Which honestly first had me thinking that Greed would be fitting. But he's.. not that greedy. To say. Anyways, the hands. Their symbolism, being the embodiment of strength, help, protection, power, or authority. The image of the palm can symbolize order, vitality, and generosity. A hand logo can be associated with aspiration, authority and dignity, creation, and skill. And I honestly think it just fits. Plainly fits him. It connects to the Lion, to the tarot, his sin and the fact that his talent is painting! His hands are used a lot. Quite a lot.
