❀ unlikely situations.↪ ☂ = pulling the wrong woman/man inside the closet for a make out session.
The party scene wasn’t the kind of place where Nana belonged. Back when she was a first year med school student, she attended parties weekly but now she no longer desired the headache that greeted her the morning after a long night of partying, especially now that she worked a six day work week.
But, somehow a friend had convinced her that it would be good for her to relive her college years by attending a party they hosted. She wasn’t keen on the idea, but she thought it might be a good idea to try something different. It wasn’t that she didn’t know how to party – because she did, but rather she didn’t enjoy it anymore.
It wasn’t any fun until she was four shots and five glasses of soju into the night, and then she and her friend were having the absolute time of their life together. Music boomed through the house and the sounds of laughter filled the air, and it was just for a short moment did Nana worry about the hangover she’d have to deal with the next day. She wasn’t concerned with that for long though, because the man whom she’s had her sights on for most of the night was about to pass her and she had mustered the courage, albeit drunken courage, to pull him aside.
The dim lighting of the room and her drunken sight wasn’t reliable, because much to her later embarrassment she had grabbed the wrong man’s arm and pulled him into the nearest room - which actually turned out to be a hallway closet. It was small, so there wasn’t much space between them and it wouldn’t be hard for him to smell the alcohol on her breath.
“I’ve had my eyes on you all night, I know you’ve been looking too. Like what you see?”
The words were slurred, and they fell out together followed by the sound of her drunken laughter. The doctor waved a hand around in search for a light, and when she found the switch and turned it on, her almond colored eyes widened in shock.
This wasn’t the man she had been eyeing up all night, but damn - he was just as good looking, if not more.
“Omo.. Sorry, I think I’ve made an idiot of myself.. –”
