"Many have been swallowed by its depths, and they have been destroyed deep - not irreversibly or permanently, for the essence of evil, as it has been said, is bound to delusion and is therefore transient; but yet they have ended up in the situation that no one should fall into."
Never does the energy disappear nor does the consciousness cease to be, but changes. Also those minds who have drifted into the whirlpool of this current and who have gone through it wholly can arise anew, i.e., their substance will endure. But because the transformations that the developmemts demands are so radical, we cannot speak about the enduring of the soul, unless we use this word in as wide a meaning as that which must be applied to the bodily resurrection awaited by Christians. In other words, the experienced reality is so far from the usual associative connections of the words, that it is closer to the esoteric truth to deny than to admit such docrine's reality.
