        [ Jackson would never heal from Lydia; she would forever be an open wound. But he supposed, at least, if he could fall in love once, he could fall in love again. Pain is only bothersome until the wound goes NUMB. And maybe he would have to kid himself, but at least one day Jackson would dead as well. Pain is as temporary as life, and Jackson valued his too much to give it up for a person who is destined to leave this physical existence anyway, just as Jackson will one day do the same. ]

Jensen Ackles does not look like Colton Haynes and I need people to stop using them as the older/younger versions of each other. Stop ignoring that Colton is part Native and embrace Tahmoh Penikett, though Channing Tatum and Chris Evans both work as well for older Colton faceclaims.

The bite wound on her shoulder is still seeping crimson liquid. She clamps her teeth together, biting back the groan of pain that threatens to escape her lips. She had already endured so much pain in her short immortal life - both physical and emotionally - that a simple bite wound on her shoulder should have been nothing, but it was far from nothing. She could feel the werewolf venom eating away at her, but whether it was killing her or turning her into something else she had no idea. 

It was those thoughts of fear that pushes her towards the house of the only werewolf she knew in the area: the only person whom she trusted. Pale than usual and weak, she felt like she had to physically force herself up on the front porch and towards the door. Every move she took felt like agony. Drawing in a sharp breathe, Eva banged on the front door. She could hear movement from inside the house though she sincerely hoped it belonged to the person she desperately needed to see. 

                                       "Vic-- Victoria? It's me, Eva. I                                         need-- I need to talk to you."

Footsteps have her attention, & though she has yet to turn or even glance behind, she knows who they belong to. She sets her mug aside, retrieving another from the cupboard & beginning to pour. Only when she’s returned the pot to the stove does she bother to ask, “Coffee?”

                  She faces Victoria a moment after, hands                   clasped securely around her own cup.                   “It’s fresh, I promise; brewed it minutes ago.” 

She could leave now, rejoin the others in the den. She doesn’t. The conversation from the past half hour still hangs in the air, spoken thoughts & objections rolling through her mind, turned over & over until she’s memorised them.

Instead she leans back against the counter, a soft smile tilting her lips as she lifts her eyes from her coffee to her company. “ -- I believe you surprised at least one person in there.” Until she’d voiced her agreement with Scott, it seemed half of them had forgotten Victoria was even present. Perhaps she’d startled them. Whether by announcing her presence or by her words themselves, Hermione’s not certain.
