Venuz Patrol wouldn’t be opening its doors to the public for another four hours, but here Haijme was. Just moments before he had received a message from Peacock saying ‘Boss wants to see you. Come to VP rn.’, so naturally he had made haste to hear what YV had to say.
Hajime would be lying if he said he wasn’t nervous. He could only hope YV hadn’t called for him to give him bad news. There was no way Hajime could continue to feed three mouths (those being: his own, Ichiyanagi’s and that of his fish called Betty Bloop) if he lost his job.
Keeping his fingers crossed for a good outcome, Hajime opened the door to YV’s private room in the club. However, who he found inside was not the flying triangle he had expected.
