My house almost burned down today. If my sister had been 5 minutes later coming home nobody would have known in time to help. I would have had to evacuate 8 animals - not counting fish - on my own without a car all while trying to call for help from whoever I could.
If I even woke up before the fire took the house. I had been sleeping until she practically kicked my door down. By the time the fire alarms even started going off we had been holding it back for 5 minutes while we waited for the fire department.
Even with my sister, her boyfriend, their friend and 8 fire trucks a good portion of the yard was destroyed, a memorial bench for my brother burned, and the grass is fried.
Thankfully, I was only one who got hurt and its all minor stuff but now 12 hours later I'm too scared to sleep. Everything smells like smoke and campfire and I keep checking to see if I see smoke or cinders.

If possible, it's better to just schedule for a pick-up at one of their locations than wait for them to throw your package at your door and leave. Last time I got a package they knocked, I stepped to the door (literally a step away), opened it and my dude was already out the door at the end of the condo hallway. I was supposed to sign for it but no, he literally left my expensive-ass camera in front of my door. :|
This is going to be a big woosy from me so l’ll put a “read more” below to make this post short.
The thing is I did gave the sender one of the UPS locations near by my place, because there are thefts in my neighborhood where people have their packages stolen before. At first it was fine, until UPS got the address mixed up with another package and was delivered to the wrong place.
After weeks of contacting the sender about the issue, it also turned out that I was given the wrong tracking number too. So after another week of waiting, I finally got the correct number and have been keeping an eye on updates online. Then things didn’t get any better when the status of the package marked from “send” to “delay due to incorrect address”. A few days later, it was marked as “returning back to sender”.
At that point I was dumbfounded on how hard for a delivery person to drive to one of their company’s store to drop off a package, and have one the store clerk to notify the customer?
I had it till the point I called customer service and the information they told me made no sense at all. Apparently, me, a customer who paid for their service must phone their store to let them know my package will be deliver to them one day prior for confirmation, or else it will returned to its sender. ALSO A FEE MUST BE PAID IF I USE ONE OF THEIR STORES AS A DELIVERY ADDRESS??
First of all, how the fuck should l know when my package will be delivered and why should l pay an extra fee when I already paid the fucking shipping fee for your shitty service??
Canada post does not have this kind of crap policy were a customer HAVE TO CALL TO LET THE POST OFFICE OF HOW TO DO THEIR JOB (also free of charge when you use their drop off locations).
I checked online today on the status on my package and it’s marked as “Returning to Sender: On Vehicle for Delivery”, the other day when I called the guy said they can get the package back and redeliver to the store by tuesday. I have no idea if he forgot to change it or bullshit it. Let’s hope he marked his words or else he will face my wrath again on the phone.
I also called the drop off store to let them know they will get my package on the tuesday, according to what they think a customer should be doing their job.
Let’s hope I get the package this time without them fucking shit up again. I am going to tell the charm company about reconsidering using UPS, because it’s just horrible on how they do their business. Never ever will l buy their service, it will be the first and last time.
My birthday is in 2 weeks and now comes the constant wondering of if anybody in my family will remember this year of if I'll be forgotten again. So far it's not looking good considering I went to lunch with some of them last month and they forgot I existed so hard that I went hungry.
I don't expect this birthday to be any different. Milestone or not I'll probably just be a ghost to them. I should be used to that by now...
