I’m tired of looking at this so it’s DONE
This is Casanova. I don’t have an actual name for him yet, because I suck. I’m thinking maybe Orion. But here’s some stuff about him:
this is his on-site dragon. Once I get money again, he’ll look like this:
He’s really old. Like, he’s been around forever, and I headcanon that he was actually in one of the first few rounds of imperials every created. He used to have big, magnificent, feathery wings, but he got cursed a long time ago. Not only was he cursed to live forever, but he was forced to do so without his wings. The curse is awful, because he literally cannot die. He can’t be killed, he can’t kill himself, and he never ages. He’s forced to watch everyone around him age and eventually die.
For the first few years after the curse, he loved it. He was a tremendous warrior, a powerhouse of ferocity that literally could not be defeated. He spent many years leading armies to victory, carried civilizations to power on his back and brute strength alone.
Then he slowly started to realize that the fight would never end for him. There would always be someone asking more of him, someone coming to his home (”altar” some clans called it, full of treasures innumerable from victories won and civilizations fell) to request him. He wouldn’t be able to settle, take a mate or have children, because they would all be destined to die around him, whether in revenge for the places and people he’d conquered, or by time.
He let them revere him as a god for some time, but that didn’t please him either. Eventually, he left; he didn’t take anything with him, and he left behind his thirst for power as he went as well. He had no need for material things; he could get whatever he wanted, and no one could stop him.
Now, he travels. He has for many years, and it’s the closest to at peace he’s ever felt. He doesn’t like to stay in one place for too long; getting attached to others is a scary thing for him, because he knows he’s destined to lose them. That doesn’t stop him from flirting with anyone he deems attractive, though. He can be quite the romantic when persuaded, and is generally a very relaxed guy at this point in his life. He’s a good shoulder to cry on, provided you can actually find him, and though he doesn’t make friends often, he does make allies, and he’d be willing to help them if they ever sent a raven for him.
Also, ravens. That’s the only way anyone can get ahold of him. He’s got a small flock that hangs around him, and they remember the places he’s been and carry messages back and forth when necessary. He treats the birds very well, always making sure they’re fed and circling around to their nesting grounds once a year. Because of this, even the ravens that don’t travel with him have usually heard of him, and if someone took the time to stop and chat with a bird for a while, would probably get a good read on his location.
