An Impromptu road trip to Broken Hill, NSW. Also known as the Silver City. The first UNESCO listed city in Australia. Everywhere you look everything is built with corrugated iron. Houses and mining sites are built with this material. This is one of the many mining sites in Broken Hill. This one here is currently in disused. But one can imagine the hum of the engines and motors bring up ore from the earth and miners down into the bleak darkness of the mine shafts.
