GUTS MAN!
Continuation of me drawing every robot master ever! I love this Dudes design a lot and apparently so did Capcom! It comes back as a tank, a roller, a grabby droid, and more.
ICE MAN!
Part of my “Draw Every Robot Master” Series!
A very old Mega Man sketch I found in my phone that I threw some color and heavy shadows on as a warm-up.
100% in the style of Hitoshi Ariga the master behind Mega Man Megamix and Gigamix!

Happy Megaman 29th anniversary from Ariga Hitoshi and the RockBoard crew!
Gotta love it when he draws the three doctors, especially when Light and Wily’s having a ridiculous fight. What are you doing Auto?
(For those confused why they’re eating sukiyaki, 2 reads “ni” and 9 reads “ku”, and “niku” means “meat”)
ROCKMAN MANIAX
Looking through some Japanese forums, I found a link to one of Ariga’s old website. I dunno if it’s already known to the western fans, but hey I want to talk about it.
It’s basically his version of the events that led to the creation of robots with “souls”, and later MM1. Also have some links to the old profiles of Lightbots.
There are some difference from the current Ariga version of the story (such as Blues built as a body guard robot instead of a household bot), and some detail that never directly made it into the manga (like why the Doctors and Blues went their separate ways).
It’s very short and simple, but nice to see some of his old draft for his story.
