On Friday, the official website for the anime Zetsuen no Tempest, whose manga adaptation was done by Kyou Shirodaira, Arihide Sano, and Ren Saizaki, has started to air the first promo for the series. The 66 second promo shows the design for the characters of Yoshino Takigawa, who is being played by Kouki Uchiyama, and Mahiro Fuwa, being played by Toshiyuki Toyonaga.
The story revolves around an ordinary high school student, Yoshino, who happens to be friends with a mysterious person named Mahiro, who had a deal with a Hakaze, a witch, so his parents and sister's killers can be hunted down. During the story, Mahiro turns up missing and Hakaze comes to Yoshino about it. Now because of this, Yoshino finds himself part of the problem that may cause the entire world to be doomed.
The anime, which is set to premiere in October, will be produced by Studio Bones and will be directed by Masahiro Ando. The script editing for the series will be done by Mari Okada.
