“There, I think this is it. We’re ready for testing,” Dr. Aki said more to himself than to anyone else in the room. Using a coordinate-locking apparatus to push messages to the other side through the gaping Medaforce hole that the other Metabee had found, he sent a message to the other Dr. Aki.
{This gate is ready for testing. How is your side doing? Our power supply is on standby until both systems are go. Will send an inanimate object through first from either, as planned, before sending the bots.}
A lab assistant stood by with a remote-controlled car in hand, fiddling with the wheels until he’d be given a signal.
The entire top floor had been vacated and designated as a restricted area under the guise of heavy electrical renovations (not entirely inaccurate), save for the handful of those who truly knew what was to transpire and were sworn to secrecy.
As the day to finally bridge the gap to the other side came closer, Rokusho had been gradually moved to the new location in order to provide as much help as he could with powering the device. Thus, he was planted in the gigantic room that housed the similarly gigantic inter-dimensional gateway.
All of the Medaforce-capable Medabots as well as their Medafighters had been notified shortly beforehand to assemble there.
