15. What book made you cry?

Oh, so many! I’m going to say ‘The Book Thief’ by Markus Zusak, because I’ve read it multiple times and it got me every single time.

16. What book made you laugh?

The first book that came to mind was ‘Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal’ by Christopher Moore. I mean it is really silly and very crass, but it had me howling with laughter at the time.

I’d also recommend the whole Kanguru Trilogy by Mark-Uwe Kling, but I’ve only read the books in German and I don’t know if the English translation is any good, so…
