Aziraphale, as a fellow book lover, I've got to know.
Do you read Manga or other forms of graphic novels? If not, I highly recommend you branch out into this area of literature as well, because they've got some amazing stories.
Second question, have you read anything by Ted Dekker? If not, I feel like you'd like his work, it's definitely the sci-fi/ fantasy genre, but everything he writes has the underlying message of love towards others and love being the most important thing in the world.
Also Crowley, I feel like you're acting a bit meaner on the blog than you actually are in real life these days. Don't bother correcting me, the idea's in my head now, it's going to live there, true or not. But either way, I know we get on your nerves, so we owe you a thank you for putting up with us. So thank you.
Aziraphale: Oh, another manga question! These must be becoming very popular at the moment if I’m being asked about the again. A perfect time to be getting them into my shop then.
Crowley: But doesn’t that mean you’ll have more customers coming in and buying things then?
Aziraphale: Yes but you see I have a system now. I will put the manga books near the entrance on the way to the counter, so that people will only look at those and then buy them and leave. That way, I get to talk to people like those very happy young humans who told me about manga the other day without my other books being at risk of being sold.
Crowley: That sounds... unnecessary but sure. What about those other books they mentioned then?
Aziraphale: I haven’t heard of the author but I certainly do like the sound of an underlying message like that. Perhaps you ought to read them yourself, dear, if you’re coming off as ‘meaner’ recently.
Crowley: Hard pass.
