Spoilers for Book 8 of TWST

Because of Rielle’s recent design reveal I decided to finally draw one of my TWST OCs I based on Ariel’s siblings.

(I actually do have one for each but that’s a lot to draw so just one for now)

Alabaster is the 5th mer sibling, being younger than Atlas, Antoinette, Allegra, and Aaliyah, but older than Aria and Rielle

He is constantly “borrowing” Aaliyah’s things. Most notably her plushy seahorse Mr. Fuzzy Finkles wich they have kind of turned into a game.

out of his siblings Alabaster is closest to Aaliyah and Rielle.

Alabaster is the only one of the mer siblings to have a close sibling relationship with Rielle.

Alabaster is very similar in personality to Rielle but slightly more reserved and cautious because due to their father’s favoritism he often gets in trouble when Rielle doesn’t.

Alabaster is part of (Twst equiv of Sebastian)’s jazz band back home in the coral sea

Alabaster likes singing but doesn’t like choir. He only ever did it because everyone else did and his dad liked it (bro has major daddy issues)

Alabaster really enjoys both the land and the sea and keeps going back and fourth on where he’ll stay after school

Alabaster knows Azul and the Tweels from elementary but didn’t know them very well at the time, aside from Aria having a crush on Floyd, and having to tell other kids (including Aria) to stop talking about Azul behind his back

Random fact about me, I got to play Arista in a production of little mermaid. She’s always been my fav
