Tate was seated at his desk, calmly sketching out what the inside of his bedroom looked like. He had been there a lot since the incident. Constance had an inkling of what had happened and therefore felt he should stay ‘out of sight, out of mind.’
If not for Moira, the bowls he ate from in his room would have piled. Despite his apparent mental dysfunction, Tate was very clean. More clean than usual. Not a speck of dirt was under his fingernails, he smelled strongly of essential oils and his hair was in perfect condition.
The only real give-away were his eyes. Haunted, puffy, with dark rings under them.
He had quiet, classical music playing.
Then he heard a knock at his door.
“No,” He replied flatly, not removing his eyes from his drawing.
