His parents are white tho, and the lighting in DAO is waaay different (worse? Idk) than in Inquisition. I’m done with people forcing characters to be not be white like it’s such a horrible thing. How people say Morrigan isn’t white but she’s clearly the most pale person in all Dragon Age games (don’t mind my rambling I’m just tired of all this)

Actually, I do mind your rambling, because this is what I’m tired of.

It is not about lighting as much as it is Alistair going from using a light brown skin tint to the palest skin tint available. That is an active choice that BioWare made, to lighten the skin of a character who was originally brown. I.e. Whitewashing.  Please see my FAQ before you consider making any more comments on this.

Also, Morrigan is half Chasind, and the Chasind people have been shown to have darker skin. Whether Morrigan herself has darker skin or not, does not change the fact that if her father was Chasind, which he was, then evidence says he was a man of colour. Which would make her whitepassing. Not white. Just because she’s whitepassing doesn’t make her less Chasind, especially seeing as she demonstrates care for and being part of the culture. 

Anyway, whitewashing is what is horrible here. Not the mean ole fans of colour pointing it out.
