something something the inquisitor's hand becoming a holy symbol that people can't help but want to look at, to touch, to kiss like the rings of a king. nobles grasping at the inquisitor's wrist during the halamshiral ball, nails like claws. soldiers clasping hands with the inquisitor, hoping for just a glimpse of that holy protection to shine upon them before a battle. commoners dropping to their knees and pressing their faces against the inquisitor's palm for mercy, for protection, for vengeance. do you see it.

The Warden, the Champion and the Inquisitor

Do you ever think about the fervour and desperation with which Cassandra was searching for Hawke, and the Warden, and then propping up the Inquisitor as Herald?

Do you ever think about Cassandra searching for someone else to lead, someone else to carry that responsibility, someone else to become her saviour?

Do you ever think about the Inquisitor asking her why? Why did you do this to me? Why did you make me into this? What did I do that I deserve you doing this to me? And how dare you judge me? You who refused this weight and shoved it on my shoulders? You who were willing to sacrifice my humanity, but not yours? Did you think your faith was a gift? Did you think it was my duty? Did you think carrying you would be easy? That you were weightless?

Similarly to DAO, I believe that every version of the Inquisitor attends the conclave. And the ones you don't choose to play, die in the explosion.

But why is YOUR Inquisitor at the conclave?

Every intro gives a sneak peak into some reason:

All Dalish and Dwarven Inquisitors are sent as a spy.

The Qunari Inquisitor is sent as security and is a member of the Valo-kas mercenary company.

Human Inquisitors are sent to aid their family and have close ties with the Templar order.

I've got my backstory as to why my Lavellan is sent as a spy but I'd love to know about others. So why was your Inquisitor there? (Thus changing their life forever.)

Finally posting this unfinished painting study I've been picking away at for like literal years of my Cadash and Josie based off of The Happy Lovers by Jean Fragonard. I really need to get back into this one, cause the amount I learned while working on it was WILD. I draped fabric and took photos for my own reference, played with colors, sketched and re-sketched and re-re-sketched and man did it really make my brain think. RIP having enough time in my day to just sit and study classic paintings... maybe I'll get back there one day.

Pls enjoy some close ups b/c this file is gi-fuckin-gantic and I might as well show off all those pixels im suffering for.
